Chapter 39: Doomsday Explosion 5

After the other party recognized Wei Zizhou, he immediately opened the door and invited them in.

Only after entering the corridor did they see each other's attire clearly.

His neck was wrapped with several layers of transparent tape, and his face was covered with a huge helmet. His body looked abnormally bloated and somewhat out of proportion.

The man felt everyone's gaze on him, he smiled at them, raised his arm, pulled up his sleeve, and a magazine was cut and wrapped around his arm.

"I made the armor myself. This kind of magazine can't be bitten through when rolled up." The man said this, and his eyes towards Wei Zizhou were once again full of gratitude.

"Officer Wei, please sit down quickly." Liu Yile felt the atmosphere was a bit awkward, so he immediately pulled out a sofa and made room for him.

"Speaking of which, I also want to thank you, Officer Wei. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be where I am today." After saying that, the other party stretched out his hand towards Wei Zizhou and shook it vigorously a few times.

"Wait a minute, what's going on?" The young soldier looked at them, who seemed strange yet familiar, and felt a little confused.

A man dressed in black and wearing a black hat walked in.

A policeman, a prisoner, and a man like this, this combination is a bit weird.

"These are all people who were killed by zombies in the building. There were also those who were infected and mutated at the beginning. I told them that this virus is deadly and contagious, and asked everyone to unite and fight it together. As a result, those people cleared their doorsteps and either drove away or closed the door and never came out again. I found these people door to door and planned to throw them out from the upstairs."

"Oh, little brother, you don't know that Officer Wei risked his life to inform us of the existence of zombies." The young man answered the young soldier who asked the question.

"Officer Wei, my name is Liu Yile."

Wei Zizhou took two steps forward and shook his hand. "Hello."

The young soldier looked at the three of them uncertainly, holding his gun. "What is your relationship? Why did he know about the zombies? Did you cause this plague?"

Wei Zizhou looked at the young soldier with a wry smile: "You really overestimate my ability."

Seeing the young soldier pointing his gun at his savior, Liu Yile immediately waved his hand and persuaded the soldier, "No, comrade, you misunderstood. Officer Wei didn't create the zombies. He rushed to the radio station and we were there. I was preparing at home because of the zombie outbreak."

Liu Yile raised his eyebrows and glanced at Yu Fei with a sad look in his eyes, and said faintly: "You don't understand!"

Liu Yile recounted this with a grateful heart, "To be honest, I was working overtime that day, and my back and waist ached from the exertion. My boss told me it was my duty to work overtime. Then I saw the news report about Officer Wei rushing to the radio station, and I thought, 'A police officer who is so desperate to tell the truth must be telling something very important.' So, I gave my boss a day off, bought enough water and food, and hid in my house."

Liu Yile raised his hand and said, "Look, if it weren't for Officer Wei, I wouldn't have made these preparations at all."

"What's going on in your building?" The little soldier looked at him doubtfully.

"Looking at the dead bodies on the first floor," the little soldier was still a little frightened. Seeing such a cruel scene in broad daylight was beyond his psychological endurance.

"Why did you know this so long ago?" After the previous battle, the young soldier's mental endurance was almost at the point of collapse. After losing his comrades and encountering this shocking change without any support, fear gradually appeared in his eyes.

Wei Zizhou looked at him helplessly, and also at the others around him. They were all staring at him with piercing eyes. He shrugged and said, "I just found out about this not long ago too."

"You said he informed everyone in the city? What happened?" The young soldier finally understood a little bit of their conversation and asked quickly.

"Let's not talk about this for now. Let's go to my house and sit down to discuss this." Liu Yile looked at them standing at the door questioning each other, and quickly stepped forward to block the door.

Just as he was about to close the door, a hand reached out from outside and got stuck on the door. Liu Yile was startled and subconsciously let go of his hand.

The man felt everyone's gaze on him, he smiled at them, raised his arm, pulled up his sleeve, and a magazine was cut and wrapped around his arm.

A man dressed in black and wearing a black hat walked in.

"Who are you looking for?" Liu Yile asked him stupidly. Before he could react, the man in black shook his body twice and pounced on him.

"Oh no!" Yu Fei, who was closest to him, kicked him immediately.
