"roar!"
Suddenly, behind the zombie horde, a strangely shaped zombie struggled, stepping on the corpses of countless of its kind, its eyes fixed on the wonton.
Xu Xing's eyes turned cold, and the wonton beneath him became agitated. Its two ears, as large as capes, stirred up a gust of wind, scattering the surrounding zombie formation.
"Boom!"
Face to face, Wonton didn't hesitate for a moment and clashed with the sudden behemoth. This strange zombie seemed to be an aggregate of a large number of zombies, its size no less than Wonton's, with countless giant claws extending from its body, making it look ferocious and terrifying.
"Die!!"
With a roar, aided by Xu Xing, the chain seemed to straighten instantly, wrapping around the front of the wonton ivory.
Snap!
Unsurprisingly, the zombie opposite, which had just reached level five in its initial fusion stage, had two deep holes pierced through its neck, and the gushing black blood even covered the surrounding zombies.
Xu Xing then took out several bundles of explosives, used his telekinesis to accelerate them, and dropped them into the two deep holes in the zombies' necks.
"boom!"
The next instant, the giant zombie's corpse crashed down, causing the surrounding ground to tremble, and many of the surrounding zombies were crushed into a pile of minced meat.
"Let me crush them!" Xu Xing commanded.
With no more large zombies blocking their way, the hundreds of people who rushed out trampled the enormous mutated beasts on the ground, moving as if they were in an empty field, mowing down the zombies like cutting grass.
The zombie horde was instantly torn open, leaving a huge gash.
In a battle of this scale, an individual's strength is reduced without limit, and even Xu Xing, who was slaughtering wildly, inevitably felt somewhat powerless.
"There are too many, too many. We can't possibly break through them. Boss, let's retreat back inside the walls."
A squad leader, one hand gripping a rifle and firing wildly, the other holding a jet-black alloy long gun.
The spear pierced through the peak level three zombie that had just charged forward amidst a hail of bullets. A barely perceptible wriggling motion between the spearheads quickly drained the zombie into a dried-up corpse, and the spear itself became even darker.
"You all go back first, I'll cover the rear!" Now that he had achieved his goal, Xu Xing ordered his men to retreat.
His reckless charge to the front was primarily motivated by a desire to lure out the Asmodeus zombie and use the battle to completely disrupt the situation.
It now seems that Asmodeus did not come to this battlefield, which allows Xu Xing to use his abilities more recklessly.
As Xu Xing was about to retreat, he looked at the countless zombies, smiled indifferently, and unleashed dozens of huge oil tanks from his hands, smashing them into the zombie horde.
"boom!"
The explosion occurred the instant it landed, and the towering fireball engulfed everything within a hundred meters. The resulting shockwave shattered windows in houses within a radius of several kilometers, and the entire city could hear the deafening roar.
Even Xu Xing, who was hundreds of meters away from the shockwave, felt a burning sting on his face, let alone the zombies.
The sky was filled with broken roots and limbs, mixed with torrential rain of blood, which splashed across the land within a radius of several kilometers.
The land illuminated by the enormous lights was bathed in a blood-red hue, and the stench of decay permeated every person's body.
Even Ye Kai on the other side couldn't help but tremble, and the giant axe in his hand almost slipped out of his grasp.
"Holy crap, what's the boss up to?" Ye Kai muttered, wiping away a bead of cold sweat.
He then charged back into the enemy ranks, spinning around on his own, unharmed by the hail of bullets.
Before Xu Xing could even look back and enjoy the spoils of war, the northern front was already in dire straits.
The voice on the walkie-talkie: "Boss, the zombies are close to the wall, and the brothers have already suffered casualties. Requesting backup!"
Hearing the urgent sounds and sensing that the zombies had been pushed further away, they quickly dispatched a small team to the northern front.
Unexpectedly, upon arriving, I discovered that the situation was far more exaggerated than what had been described on the walkie-talkie.
Some of the more agitated zombies have even climbed over the wall and engaged in close combat with some of the people.
"Fire! Don't leave me a single bullet."
In an instant, they once again established suppressive fire, with a barrage of fireballs, ice blocks, poison mist, and lightning striking the zombie horde, finally blocking the zombie front once more.
Suddenly, Xu Xing glanced to his right and saw a male level-two ability user, who seemed to be a college student, whose fingers were constantly gathering light and shooting it at the zombies. He was so frightened by the scene in front of him that he burst into tears.
He seemed to be trying to escape, but just as he turned his head in a panic and shouted that he wouldn't do it anymore, a huge long sword suddenly pierced through his head, plunged straight into the ground, and pinned him there.
"Anyone who deserts in the face of battle shall die!!"
A powerful voice emanated from Xu Xing's mouth, spreading precisely to every corner within the long wall.
"Oh, you seem to be a bit irritable."
Suddenly, a soft, feminine voice came from afar.
Xu Xing looked up and saw that in the very center of the zombie horde, there was an empty patch of land. Even though countless zombies were still rushing forward, they seemed to be subconsciously trying to avoid this place.
The reason was that a humanoid man stood in this place, his dark red armor covering his entire body perfectly, his long dark red hair flowing behind his head, and his somewhat effeminate face conveying a faint smile.
Its right hand was clutching a man's head, with blood dripping from it. The torrential rain from the sky evaporated completely before it even got close.
Xu Xing narrowed his eyes, feeling an immense pressure sweeping over him.
"Asmodeus?"
"Bang!"
Xu Xing instantly launched himself out, arriving in the center of the zombie horde. He responded to the zombies from afar, instinctively calling out their names.
"So they know me. It's good that they do. It seems that not all the humans in the city are ants. There are still some who can give me a good time."
With that, he casually tossed the head to the ground and mercilessly crushed it with his dark red boots.
Xu Xing recognized the owner of the head; they had even met not long ago. This was the leader of another force in the city, with a considerable number of subordinates, including two to three hundred ability users alone. Xu Xing himself was also a peak level four strength-type ability user.
Xu Xing was someone he had been particularly careful to protect; they had to be on high alert and vigilant during the final battle against the zombies.
"bass--"
The surrounding space seemed to freeze for a moment as a fair hand, as if teleporting, grabbed at Xu Xing's waist, creating a sound boom.
"snort!"
Xu Xing gave a light shout, narrowly dodging the attack. His body slid to the left, smashing through dozens of zombies in the process before finally coming to a stop.
This was exactly the result he wanted. Since the other party was so confident, they certainly wouldn't care about the occasion. However, they underestimated Xu Xing's strength. Starting a battle here would be very advantageous for Xu Xing.
