Chapter 115: Is this a case of lambs to the slaughter?!

All ten of us can drive, so we decided on a driving order. Today, Zhao Liang will be driving.

Before the apocalypse, it took about half an hour to travel from the center of the Spruce District to the center of the Birch District.

Even if there are zombies after the apocalypse, it should take about 2 or 3 hours to get to the granary, and about an hour should be enough.

Zhao Liang drove very steadily, heading southwest.

There are still many areas in the Spruce District that have not been cleared, and the survivors have not yet been rescued. Fang Xiyue and the others will pass through there on their way to the Birch District.

At first, everything went very smoothly, but once they left the area that had already been cleared from the Spruce District, they immediately encountered zombies.

Not only were there zombies, but there were also 6 survivors.

They fought the zombies with weapons they had somehow found.

Perhaps to encourage themselves, they made loud "Ha!" and "Ha!" sounds.

Fang Xiyue and her group's car was blocked by zombies and could not pass.

"Get off the bus and walk!"

Fang Xiyue made the decision directly, and then everyone unbuckled their seatbelts and quickly got out of the car.

Fang Xiyue turned around and put the car away, and then the group rushed towards the surging zombies.

It wasn't that they wanted to kill zombies; there was simply no other way.

The ten men drew their Tang swords simultaneously, advanced in two columns, and charged into the horde of zombies.

They only wanted to go this way, so they didn't stop in one place to kill zombies and kept moving forward.

"Hey, this won't do! The zombies are about to surround you. If you run out of energy, you'll be like lambs to the slaughter!"

The survivor with 'Zheng Yang' above his head shouted loudly at the Peak Squad.

"Although you guys are dressed quite smartly and look pretty impressive, your strategy is lacking. Hurry up and come to the side!"

We're all out here collecting supplies; it's not worth risking our lives!

The survivor with the "Silent Words" above his head continued to shout.

Then they saw that the group, all dressed in black and whose faces were obscured, moving forward at an astonishing speed, as if swimming in a horde of zombies.

"You guys should worry about yourselves first, the zombies are over!"

Dandan took a moment to shout out.

Because the two survivors shouted, some of the zombies went straight past them.

"Hey, zombies, you guys are so unfair! Why did you launch a surprise attack?!"

Zheng Yang's eyes widened, and he quickly and vigorously waved the machete in his hand.

Shen Yan was also busy, working alongside Zheng Yang to kill zombies.

Fang Xiyue and her group quickly caught up with Zheng Yang and his group.

"Follow them!"

Seeing how capable this team was, Zheng Yang figured they wouldn't mind taking a little advantage, so he quickly urged his teammates to catch up.

The six of them quickly lined up behind the elite team and then followed their example, forming two rows.

Fang Xichen and Chen Shuai, at the back of the group, exchanged a helpless glance, then changed from their rearguard position to slashing at the zombies next to them.

The ones covering the rear became Zheng Yang and his teammates, with Zheng Yang and Shen Yan standing right next to Fang Xichen and Chen Shuai.

Are you also going to the big supermarket up ahead to collect supplies?

You guys are really on the same page as us; supplies have been almost completely taken away in other places.

"We can only get supplies in areas with lots of zombies now. We've been out here for three days and only just got here."

Zheng Yang is a chatterbox; he feels extremely uncomfortable if he doesn't talk.

At this moment, everyone is focused on fighting the zombies; they are surrounded by them.

Even though it was a very tense moment, a time when he couldn't afford to be distracted, he just couldn't help wanting to strike up a conversation.

"Let me tell you, although we haven't received any rescue yet, our Beyond Team has single-handedly fed everyone in the building. Isn't that amazing!?"

Undeterred by the lack of response, Zheng Yang continued speaking.

"Zheng Yang, stop bragging. There are only 6 people in this building. All 6 of them are out collecting supplies. How can we not support them?"

Shen Yan nudged Zheng Yang with his elbow.

"Pfft." Dandan, who had been listening to their conversation, couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Dandan is also the kind of person who loves to join in the fun and listen to gossip, so she wasn't intentionally listening; her ears just had their own opinions.

"Look at you, why do you tell everyone everything? Now everyone's laughing at you."

Zheng Yang heard the laughter and complained silently.

"You guys need to focus, or if we go too far, you'll be completely surrounded."

Chen Shuai frowned slightly and couldn't help but remind him.

As a soldier, he inherently puts the people first.

Of course, he always remembered that he was not a soldier.

Therefore, he won't immediately rescue the survivors or become a protector, but he can still offer a reminder.

"Holy shit."

Zheng Yang and Shen Yan then realized that there was a gap between them and the group in front of them, through which zombies could pass.

The two quickly followed, their hearts pounding.

"Stop joking around, you two, and get to work. There are too many zombies."

The two teammates standing at the back of the line couldn't help but say something to the two of them.

Zheng Yang and Shen Yan felt wronged, but they kept quiet.

but……

"Where did you get those Tang swords? Can we still get them if we go now?"

No response.

"Your outfits are great too. Why didn't we think of wearing matching clothes? You look like you're on the same team, so cool."

There was no sound.

Why are you all so covered up? Are you celebrities?

Take a deep breath.

"Huh? A celebrity? You're absolutely right, we've actually met a real-life superstar."

Because he was standing next to the captain, Shen Yan received a warning look from the captain, so he endured it and held back his anger.
