The others looked at the peach in Fang Qingxun's hand upon hearing this.
"Really? Doesn't that taste like a peach?"
Fu Xiaxia thought Fang Qingxun was exaggerating; how delicious could peaches be?
"Girl, give me a knife. You won't believe me, just try it and you'll see."
Seeing that the others didn't believe him, Fang Qingxun asked Jiang Li for a small knife, cut off a few pieces from the parts they hadn't eaten before, and handed them to everyone.
Jiang Li picked up the peach Fang Qingxun handed him and looked at it. It looked no different from an ordinary peach. After putting it in his mouth, Jiang Li finally believed what Fang Qingxun had said.
One bite and it's incredibly tender and juicy, with a richer aroma than regular peaches. It has a crisp texture, and the peach flavor lingers in your mouth long after you finish eating it.
The others were equally shocked after finishing their meal. Fang Qingxun looked at Jiang Li and the others' shocked expressions and said smugly.
"I told you it was delicious, but you didn't believe me."
"It really tastes delicious."
Fu Xiaxia said.
"Come here, Xiaxia, you can have all of this peach."
Fang Qingxun handed the remaining peaches in his hand to Fu Xiaxia.
"No need, we'll eat together."
Fu Xiaxia took the peach and smiled as she spoke to Fang Qingxun.
Shi Yuan touched his arm as he watched this scene, feeling the sudden onslaught of PDA. He turned to look at the other side and saw Jiang Li and Gu Jin. Well, from now on, he could have plenty of PDA. He then looked at his older brother. Well, at least he had someone like him.
When Shi Lin saw Shi Yuan looking at him, he looked at Shi Yuan with a puzzled expression, asking what was wrong. Shi Yuan shook his head to indicate that it was nothing.
Jiang Li, on the other side, didn't see this; she was currently enticing the little monkey. An idea had been in her mind ever since she ate the peach.
Jiang Li waved a banana at the little monkey. The little monkey hesitated for a moment but still went over. Jiang Li didn't give the banana to the little monkey immediately, but squatted down and talked to the little monkey.
"Little monkey, how about I trade you a banana for a peach? You can take us to a place where there are peaches. Is that okay?"
After Jiang Li finished speaking, fearing that the little monkey wouldn't understand, he also pointed to the bananas and the peaches that Fu Xiaxia had just been holding.
The little monkey nodded blankly, then took the banana from Jiang Li's hand and walked forward. After walking a while, it stopped and waved to Jiang Li and the others.
"It seems he can indeed understand what we are saying."
Gu Jin spoke towards the little monkey.
"Yes, monkeys are already very intelligent, and now that animals have mutated, they're probably even more so. Let's go."
Jiang Li and Gu Jin said.

Gu Jin called the others and then followed the little monkey up the mountain. The little monkey would stop from time to time to check if Jiang Li and the others were following.
When the group was halfway there, the little monkey suddenly sped up. Seeing this, the group quickened their pace as well. Ahead, they saw a group of monkeys, one of the larger ones carrying the little monkey from before.
When the other monkeys saw Jiang Li and his group, they all started squeaking, and their attitude was not very good.
"They won't think we stole the baby monkey, will they?"
Shi Yuan had a bad feeling as he looked at the group of monkeys in front of him.
"I think so too."
Shi Lin had the same premonition.
"What should we do? The little monkey can understand human speech, right? The bigger ones should be able to understand too, right? Should we explain it to them?"
Fang Qingxun said nervously.
"You can give it a try."
Gu Jin agreed with Fang Qingxun's suggestion and was about to speak when Jiang Li spoke up.
"How about I do it? The little monkey likes me a lot, so maybe what I say will be more effective."
Gu Jin glanced at Jiang Li, took Jiang Li's hand, and finally nodded. If there were any problems, he would immediately pull Jiang Li away.
Jiang Li stepped forward and spoke.
"Um, hello, we really didn't steal the little monkey. You can ask the little monkey. Little monkey, can you explain this to your family?"
Upon hearing Jiang Li's words, the little monkey actually started "squeaking" and communicating with the big monkey holding it. It even showed the big monkey the banana it was holding, and the big monkey would occasionally "squeak" back.
Finally, the monkey troop quieted down.
As the monkey troop gradually quieted down and became less aggressive than before, Fu Xiaxia asked in a low voice.
"Have they already made things clear?"
"I think so."
Jiang Li wasn't quite sure either. Suddenly, the little monkey rushed towards Jiang Li. Gu Jin actually sensed that the little monkey meant no harm, but her body still instinctively protected Jiang Li.
The little monkey rushed into Jiang Li's arms. Jiang Li looked at the little monkey in his arms helplessly. The big monkey that had been holding the little monkey had started to squeak and roar impatiently.
Jiang Li thought that if monkeys could talk, they would definitely shout something like that.
"You brat, come back here right now."
Fortunately, it was the little monkey that rushed over on its own, otherwise Jiang Li would definitely have been beaten by these monkeys. Even now, she can feel the anger of the monkey troop.
Jiang Li had no choice but to coax the little monkey in her arms.
"Little monkey, look how worried your family is about you. If you keep acting like this, I might get arrested by them. Why don't you go back to their side?"
The little monkey looked up at Jiang Li, then at its family, and finally reluctantly returned to the troop.
