Chapter 124 Yacht Club

The group drove out of the base, and with the address given to them by Captain Zhang in hand, they compared it with the map Jiang Li had downloaded on his phone and followed the road step by step to find their way there.

The rain was still falling, but thankfully it wasn't heavy, and driving on the road was still fine.

Because of the rain, Jiang Li and his group barely stopped to rest. The six of them took turns driving, and finally found the yacht club on the fourth day.

The yacht club was huge, and you could see many yachts docked at the shore from the outside. These yachts were much better than the boats at the base. However, Jiang Li did not immediately put these yachts into her space. They needed to check if there was anyone inside the club.

As they walked further, they saw many fishing boats, which must have been used as a dock by fishermen after the area was abandoned.

However, there is no one on the fishing boat now. Many of the tools are still there. It's raining now, so no one will go out to sea at this time.

Stepping inside the club, it was very large and luxuriously decorated.

Wow, is this what life is like for the rich?

Fang Qingxun was impressed by the magnificent decorations as soon as he entered.

"That's capital."

Fu Xiaxia chimed in from the side.

The others remained silent; whatever had happened before the apocalypse was now irrelevant.

After checking the area, Jiang Li and his group confirmed that there was no one inside and no supplies. Since fishermen had come here, anything useful had probably already been looted. They then checked several yachts to make sure no one was there before Jiang Li stored the yacht that looked decent in his spatial storage.

On the upper floor, none of them found the yacht, so they decided to check the lower floors. They slowly descended the stairs and finally found the submarine on the second basement level.

There's no electricity, and there's no light down there. They're relying entirely on the powerful flashlights in their hands. The only sound on the second basement level is the footsteps of Jiang Li and his group; there's no other noise. In this kind of environment, if Jiang Li and his group didn't have strong mental fortitude, probably no one would dare to come down.

The group arrived in front of the submarine, where five or six submarines were moored. Some were large and some were small. The smallest was larger than the ones in the base and could seat about four people, while the largest could seat ten people. Jiang Li put all of them into his spatial storage.

After finding the submarine, the group didn't immediately return to the surface. Instead, they wandered around the area below. Since there was a submarine there, there must also be repair tools and materials. By taking these with them, even if the submarine had a problem, Gu Jin and the others could repair it.

A few hours later, the group returned with a full load of supplies. They had not only found materials for a submarine, but also a lot of alcohol in a rather secluded room.

Jiang Li still remembers the scene that Jiang Li saw when Gu Jin opened the door. She forgot to go in until Fu Xiaxia patted her on the shoulder and brought her back to her senses.

"Jiang Li, what do you see? Let me see too!"

Jiang Li went inside after he came to his senses, which gave Fu Xiaxia and the others a chance to see the scene inside.

The group was stunned by the scene inside, and Fang Qingxun finally made a move.

"We're about to strike it rich!"

Everyone laughed when they heard Fang Qingxun's words. Wasn't he going to make a fortune?

The drinks in the club weren't cheap before the apocalypse. It must have been too dark down there for the drinks in this room to have gone unnoticed. Although the door to this room was in a rather secluded location, the room itself was very large.

Anyway, when Jiang Li and the others shone their flashlights, they couldn't see the walls; the bottles of wine inside were neatly arranged in rows.

All the wines in the room were perfectly preserved. Jiang Li estimated that there were hundreds of bottles of just one type of wine, including red, white, and beer. Jiang Li stored the entire room, including the shelves, into his spatial storage.

The group that returned to the first floor were still quite excited. Even after so long since the apocalypse, they were still able to find so much wine. Their luck was truly incredible. It was also thanks to the fact that the place had been relatively wealthy before and had preserved the wine very well, otherwise what they found would have been spoiled.

The diving club was very spacious, and there were definitely many rooms for people to rest. The group planned to rest for a while before returning to the base. They hadn't stopped on the road for the past few days, and they were all quite tired.

After a simple meal, the group found their own rooms and rested.

The next day, before setting off, the group decided to have a good meal before leaving. They had just eaten something casual when they arrived, so now they naturally wanted to eat something delicious. Moreover, the scenery here was so beautiful that it was perfect to accompany their meal. After discussing it, they decided to have barbecue.

Jiang Li took out the barbecue grill, put on the charcoal, and then took out all the ingredients.

Corn, shiitake mushrooms, squid, ham sausage, oysters, beef skewers, lamb skewers, etc.

It has to be said that fresh oysters taken directly from the sea taste completely different from those sold in stores; they are incredibly fresh. No wonder everyone liked to go directly to the beach to eat them before the apocalypse if they had the means.

Fang Qingxun shamelessly claimed that his grilling was delicious, but in the end, the others persuaded him to give up and strictly forbade him from touching the grill again. In the end, Shi Lin and Gu Jin grilled the best.

Jiang Li was fed by Gu Jin the whole time, and didn't have to do any grilling herself. Jiang Li ate a lot, while Gu Jin didn't eat much.

After eating and drinking their fill, the group finally embarked on their journey back to base. Being by the sea, they were quite apprehensive; if a tsunami were to occur, they would be in real danger.

They all knew the way back, so it was much faster than before they came. On the third day, they returned to the base.

The group had only driven into the base a short time before they reached the villa when the accident occurred. It had been raining for the past few days without stopping, and the water level had been rising continuously.

The sky had been dark the whole time. When the group set off today, it seemed even darker, but now it was almost night, though we could still see things.

Suddenly the ground seemed to start shaking, and this shaking was completely different from the previous earthquakes.

"Look, what's that?"

Someone in the base pointed to the coastline not far away and said in a trembling voice, “There is a faint black line wriggling there, and it seems to be getting higher and higher.”

Jiang Li opened the car window, took out his binoculars and looked over, and immediately his palms started sweating.

Jiang Li saw that the sea was surging and roaring not far away, and the mountains were collapsing and crumbling. The calm sea one second was replaced by a completely different scene the next.

Giant waves roared out, sweeping across the coastline with destructive force, creating waves nearly a thousand meters high. Everything was surging and churning like a raging sea.

Jiang Li immediately said to Shi Lin, who was driving.

"Drive quickly to the highest point of the base."

"Help it up."

Upon hearing Jiang Li's words, Shi Lin, without suspicion, immediately stepped on the gas and sped towards the tallest building in the base, while the others steadied themselves.

"What happened?"

Gu Jin asked, but she already had a guess in her mind.
