Chapter 129 Whirlpool

Gu Jin turned his body to one side and listened intently. Jiang Li noticed his change and fell silent, waiting for him to speak.

Seven or eight seconds later, Gu Jin turned his face, his expression serious, and said in a low voice.

"Something is hitting the speedboat from below."

This result was almost exactly as Jiang Li had predicted. The fact that the large speedboat behind hadn't followed might be related to the creatures that had collided with the hull below.

As soon as Gu Jin finished speaking, the cabin shook even more violently.

"That thing is on the right. Shi Lin, you control the ship to move to the left."

Gu Jin took out a gun and pointed it at Shi Lin.

Shi Lin reacted quickly. Gu Jin silently counted to three, unbuckled her seatbelt, stood up quickly, and opened the side window, where sunlight reflected off the water.

You can clearly see a large, red octopus underwater, its bald head rising from the surface. Gu Jin said without turning his head.

There's a giant octopus down there.

Upon hearing this, the others also looked out the window. The octopus had already emerged from the water, and they could see it clearly.

"My God, this is huge!!!"

"This is way too outrageous!!!"

Fu Xiaxia and Fang Qingxun exclaimed in surprise at the same time. Shi Lin and Shi Yuan were also seeing such a large octopus for the first time. Although they were surprised, they did not say anything.

Jiang Li took out a rope with a claw hook from his spatial storage and suggested,

"Catch him, he's edible."

"good."

Gu Jin took the rope and, without hesitation, fired quickly. The bullet pierced straight through the octopus's red head.

The claw leaped into the water and hooked the octopus's tentacles perfectly.

In an instant, the white halo on the water's surface was visibly stained black along the direction of the rope, and Gu Jin fired a few more shots underwater.

The smell of blood filled my nostrils, and the fishy odor spread rapidly across the water's surface, causing the waves to surge more and more violently.

Give me the rope.

Jiang Li stretched out her right hand and took the rope from Gu Jin. With a thought, the rope in Jiang Li's hand disappeared into thin air, and an octopus appeared in her space.

The rolling waves pushed the speedboat into the middle of the spray. Gu Jin frowned slightly, then said to Jiang Li.

Give me a powerful flashlight.

Jiang Li took out a flashlight from his spatial storage and handed it to Gu Jin. He turned on the flashlight and shone it on the area next to the octopus ink, where he could vaguely see a large group of fish underwater.

"Can you see a school of fish down there?"

Apart from Shi Lin and Shi Yuan who were piloting the boat, the others all looked towards where Gu Jin was shining her flashlight.

"Yes, there are."

Fang Qingxun said.

"I saw it too."

Fu Xiaxia nodded in agreement.

They were too far away to see their appearance clearly. The fish swirled in the water, forming a sizable whirlpool in the middle.

"The waves are huge, and there are whirlpools nearby. It's very likely we'll get swept in."

Jiang Li spoke in a deep voice, and Gu Jin had already closed the window when she saw the vortex.

The speedboat's trajectory was no longer something Jiang Li and his team could change simply by exerting force.

She took out six lifebuoys from her storage space, one for each person. Before the lifebuoys could be distributed, the rear of the speedboat was violently struck, forcing the entire cabin to move forward more than ten meters.

Jiang Li and Gu Jin lost their balance and almost crashed into the glass in front of them.

What happened next?

After being hit like that, Jiang Li felt the ship's speed increase by a few degrees.

Gu Jin walked to the back with a flashlight, opened the window and stuck her head out, and found that a large metal box had been swept into the vortex.

"It was that metal box from before; it knocked our boat out of the whirlpool."

In that case, they should thank that broken box...

Just as she was thinking this, Gu Jin felt something was wrong with the ship's deck. As the light shifted downwards, water was seeping into the deck!

"The speedboat is broken."

Gu Jin reminded everyone and then quickly went to check, and several of them stood up at this time.

More and more water seeped in, and after inspection, it was found that the gap was caused by the impact of the iron box.

"Girl, there's no time to fix it now. Get a new speedboat out, we need to move."

Fang Qingxun looked at the loopholes and then said to Jiang Li.

"good."

There was no time to repair it. Shi Lin and Shi Yuan quickly stopped the speedboat. Jiang Li took out a new yacht from his space and placed it on the right side. The group began to move onto the new yacht. After Jiang Li got on, he turned around and put the broken yacht back into his space.

After that, the group encountered no further accidents while sailing at sea, and everything went smoothly.

Finally, a day later, the group found a high ground that had not been flooded.

As soon as the submarine docked, the men jumped off.

Seeing no sign of human presence, Jiang Li quickly stored the stranded submarine in his spatial storage and then took out a car.

The temperature was still a bit cold, but thankfully the rain had stopped, and the group quickly got into the car and closed the doors.

After driving 34 kilometers to ensure they wouldn't be affected by the tsunami, the group parked in a secluded grove.

"Finally, we can stop."

Fang Qingxun went ashore, stretched his body, and said.

"Yes, thankfully we were prepared."

Fu Xiaxia also stretched her body and said.

"You should all go take a hot shower to warm yourselves up."

Jiang Li said to Gu Jin and the others that Jiang Li and Fu Xiaxia had already washed up on the way and the car's heater was on.

"good."

Gu Jin took the clothes that Jiang Li had prepared for her from her hand, and the group took turns showering in the RV's bathroom.

Jiang Li and Fu Xiaxia weren't idle either. They got out of the RV and sprayed insecticide all around them. There were many insects in the forest, and they only returned to the RV after they had finished spraying.
