"Maybe so, but we still have to try to live on, we all have to live to the end."
When Gu Jin said this, her eyes were full of determination as she looked at Jiang Li.

Jiang Li saw Gu Jin's expression and then nodded solemnly.
"Hey, stop showing off your love. I'm already full before I even had breakfast. Come on, Xiaxia, let's do some lovey-dovey stuff too."
Perhaps fearing the atmosphere would become heavy, Fang Qingxun spoke up and then leaned towards Fu Xiaxia.
"Who wants to flaunt our love with you? Go away."
Fu Xiaxia pretended to be disgusted and pushed Fang Qingxun away.
"No, Xiaxia, come give me a hug."
Fang Qingxun persisted in arguing with Fu Xiaxia, while Shi Yuan and Shi Lin exchanged glances and could only helplessly shrug.
Jiang Li and Gu Jin were also in a much better mood because of the two's playful bickering.
Afterwards, they all stayed in their rooms to sleep or read. Occasionally, a few of them would play cards. They were all tired from traveling, and now that they had settled down for a while, none of them wanted to go out.
The group was reading in the afternoon when they suddenly heard a man's voice coming from downstairs. They immediately stopped what they were doing.
The group sat up in bed and listened carefully to the sounds coming from below.
A moment later, Gu Jin opened her mouth and mouthed something to the others.
There should be two people below.
Upon hearing this, the group drew their guns and prepared themselves.
Gu Jin and Shi Lin walked to the door, quietly opened it, and changed into their old shoes, while the others hid at the doorway and looked towards the stairwell.
