"A woman? Did you see her clearly?"
Upon hearing this, Jiang Li thought of the shoe prints he had seen downstairs earlier.
Gu Jin paused for a few seconds, recalling the woman's appearance under the lightning in his mind, before speaking.
"Hmm, her chin is narrow and pointed, her eyebrows and eyes are like a woman's, and her complexion is very pale, she doesn't look like a normal person."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Li pursed her lips.
"Captain, you just mentioned cars. What kind of people would drive a car as soon as the floodwaters recede?"
Shi Yuan thought of the car that Gu Jin had mentioned earlier, so he asked.
Gu Jin thought for a moment before answering.
"At present, the base is the most likely candidate, but it is unknown whether it is public or private."
"Forget it, it has nothing to do with us anyway." Fang Qingxun lay back down.
Jiang Li lay back down on the bed, but the woman Gu Jin had mentioned earlier kept popping into her mind.

"Never mind, let's go."
Jiang Li thought for a moment that even if someone wanted to harm them, they couldn't do anything once they were gone.
The surroundings were pitch black, and the road was littered with collapsed bricks and steel bars. The group had to detour to the main road to drive away.
Gu Jin walked in front, Jiang Li followed behind Gu Jin, and the others followed one after another up the small hill made of steel bars. Just as they were about to go down, a hand suddenly grabbed Jiang Li's ankle, which she had just lifted.
Jiang Li was pulled so suddenly that he leaned back slightly, but quickly regained his balance.
Jiang Li reacted quickly, taking out a small flashlight and shining it directly on the ground.
A pale-faced woman lay on her side amidst the collapsed bricks and steel bars.
The woman's clothes were dirty, and the yellow color she wore was an abnormal shade of yellow, with varying shades.
Faced with the glaring light, she simply raised her head blankly, barely blinking; her facial muscles were extremely stiff, like frozen meat taken out of the refrigerator.
Jiang Li frowned and directly kicked the woman's hand away.
She exercises every day and is well-fed and clothed. In the apocalypse, her physical condition is unmatched by most people.
The woman immediately let go of his hand and fell unsteadily into the pile of steel bars.
Jiang Li subconsciously glanced at the woman's feet. She was wearing a pair of men's sneakers, with a small gap at the back.
The woman moved her neck, tilted her head back, and lifted her eyelids.
"Holy crap, this woman is terrifying in the middle of the night."
Fang Qingxun looked at the woman who suddenly appeared and said that the others were also startled by her. They hadn't even noticed that there was someone lying there, as if she hadn't done it on purpose.
The woman on the ground slowly got up, her whole body like a rusty music box. Just by watching her move, you could hear creaking and clicking sounds. She was swaying from side to side, without any semblance of order.
"Is this woman a little abnormal?"
Fu Xiaxia looked at the woman's actions with some uncertainty and said, "No one would do that." Jiang Li also frowned as he looked at the woman in front of him.
Gu Jin's temples throbbed. He grabbed Jiang Li's hand and led Gu Jin away from there quickly, with the others following behind.
"It seems she followed us."
Shi Yuan walked a short distance and looked back, only to find the woman from before staggering toward them.
This woman is very strange, and it seems she's been watching them for a long time.
The group quickly walked onto the main road, where there were far fewer obstacles. Before the woman could catch up, Jiang Li quickly took out a car from his spatial storage.
The group immediately got into the car. Gu Jin climbed into the driver's seat, while Jiang Li cut off the part of his trouser leg that the woman had grabbed before getting in and threw it on the ground.
