Chapter 43 Secret



Jiang Li didn't want things to get awkward because of suspicion between friends, and in the end, they might not even be able to stay friends. He thought it was better to be honest from the beginning, and he trusted Gu Jin.

"Jiang Li, thank you, thank you for trusting me."

Gu Jin naturally hoped that his girlfriend and his teammates could get along peacefully, but if Jiang Li really didn't want to tell them, he would definitely keep it a secret for her and wouldn't tell them, since it was Jiang Li's secret.

Gu Jin gently hugged Jiang Li, then quickly let go, afraid that she wouldn't be able to bear it.

Jiang Li watched Gu Jin leave and slowly disappear into the night. It was already past three in the morning.

Back in the room, Jiang Li immediately turned on the air conditioner, plugged in the heater and the small electric heater, added charcoal to the stove, and turned on the electric blanket on the bed.

Once it started to warm up, Jiang Li quickly and simply washed up before crawling into bed.

The chill on his body began to fade, and he felt warm and comfortable. Only then did Jiang Li feel alive again.

Remembering what Gu Jin had just said to her, she couldn't help but roll around on the bed a few times while hugging the blanket before she slowly began to calm down.

Jiang Li felt that she hadn't blushed before, but now her face must be very red.

With her head resting on the pillow and her body nestled in the blankets, she drifted off to sleep, a faint smile still lingering on her face.
