Chapter Nineteen Finding Fault



"Oh, really? Then come and do it if you dare." Jiang Li picked up the Tang sword and played with it in his hand. Using a gun to deal with them would be a waste; a sword would suffice. Jiang Li looked at them as if they were already dead.

He Guangwen and He Li looked at the knife in Jiang Li's hand with sneers, thinking that she was just a woman who was only trying to scare people with a knife and would not actually use it.

"Dad, look, you're trying to scare us. I bet it's not even sharpened. It looks just like the real thing, hahaha." He Li said with a grin, looking at Jiang Li with a face full of mockery.

With a thud, He Li fell to the ground, a knife embedded in his chest. It was the same knife Jiang Li had been holding. He Li clutched his chest, his eyes filled with disbelief. The surroundings fell silent, until a voice suddenly broke the silence.

"Ah, murder! Murder!" His mouth was covered to avoid attracting Jiang Li's attention.

"You, I'll fight you to the death! You actually killed my son!" He Guangwen looked at He Li's fallen figure in disbelief and rushed forward to grab Jiang Li, but was pushed away by Jiang Li.

“I’ve already given you a chance, but you were unwilling to leave. Who can you blame?” With that, she took out another knife and swiftly slit He Guangwen’s neck.

Jiang Li glanced coldly at the people around him. No one dared to look at him. Jiang Li looked at their behavior with satisfaction. It seemed that no one would cause trouble after this.

Chen Sisi watched from a distance, her whole body trembling. Luckily, she hadn't provoked them again.
