Fu Xiaxia gave Jiang Li a thumbs-up, and watching the two figures leave, she couldn't help but find it a little funny. She hadn't expected her boss to have this side to her.

Jiang Li hugged Gu Jin back with both hands. Gu Jin's eyes lit up when she felt Jiang Li's action, and she happily lowered her head to kiss him again.
Jiang Li couldn't understand how Gu Jin could trick her after she left for just one night. What Jiang Li didn't know was that it was because of the novel she left on her bedside table that things had turned out this way.
Jiang Li wasn't bored by Gu Jin's company. Seeing the novel Jiang Li had been reading every day recently, Gu Jin curiously picked it up and read it for a while, which made Gu Jin suddenly understand.
