"No move, no move."
Gu Jin quickly stepped forward and hugged Jiang Li, then smiled and took Jiang Li's hand as they walked into the master bedroom.
The master bedroom is much larger than the one Jiang Li lived in before. It was also a bare shell, with a window, a balcony and a separate bathroom.
Gu Jin's things were neatly arranged on the bed.
"It seems like living alone isn't so bad."
Jiang Li said to the man standing to the side who had been laughing the whole time, unable to resist teasing him.
Gu Jin stood next to Jiang Li and looked at him with a pitiful expression after hearing what he said, a completely different look from before.
"Can we not move?"
Jiang Li raised an eyebrow and looked at Gu Jin.
"Didn't you just want to move it downstairs?"
Gu Jin didn't speak, just stared at Jiang Li, and finally Gu Jin spoke.
You can't go back on your word.
"Let's tidy up the room first."
Jiang Li stopped teasing Gu Jin, walked to the bedside, and put Gu Jin's things, along with the bed, into her spatial storage.
"good."
Seeing Jiang Li's actions, Gu Jin knew she had agreed and said happily.
Jiang Li gave herself and Gu Jin a mask each, as there would be quite a lot of dust when they swept the floor later.
Sprinkle water on the ground and sweep it first; sprinkling water can reduce the amount of dust flying up.
After sweeping, Jiang Li took out the floorboards she had used before and added some new ones. She figured these were still usable and shouldn't be wasted, especially since she liked the color.
The two of them started laying out the materials.
Just as the two were laying the floor, the four people at the door exchanged silent glances, signaling everyone else to go in first. In the end, Fu Xiaxia was pushed out.
Fu Xiaxia had no choice but to glance at Jiang Li and Gu Jin, who didn't seem to be arguing, and then mustered up her courage to knock on the door.
There was a knock on the door. Jiang Li turned around and saw that it was Fu Xiaxia and her group.
Jiang Li gestured to the group with his eyes, indicating what was wrong.
"Hey Jiang Li, you and the boss didn't have a fight, did you?"
Fu Xiaxia was a little afraid to look at Jiang Li.
"No, why?"
"Hehe, that's good, that's good."
Fu Xiaxia didn't know what to say next, so she frantically winked at the people behind her. In the end, it was Shi Lin who came to her rescue.
"Jiang Li, I'm sorry, we acted impulsively and without thinking it through."
Jiang Li is a girl, and they really shouldn't have acted like that; it might have embarrassed her.
Fu Xiaxia and the others also apologized to Jiang Li.
Jiang Li didn't speak, but stood up and looked at Fu Xiaxia and the others. Fu Xiaxia and the others looked at Jiang Li with some nervousness.
Jiang Li saw guilt, apology, and embarrassment on the faces of the four of them, and then spoke up.
"I can forgive it, but I hope it won't happen again."
"Yes, yes, don't worry, there definitely won't be a next time."
Fang Qingxun was the first to speak up, and he was relieved to know that the girl didn't blame them. The others followed suit.
Gu Jin knew that the others were doing this for him, so when Fu Xiaxia and the others spoke up, he didn't help them. He felt he should apologize, even though this idea benefited him.
That was the end of that matter.
Several people helped to finish installing the floor stickers, and then Jiang Li took out new wall stickers.
Although the room was much bigger, there were many people working on it, so the wallpaper was put up quickly.
Once the floor and wallpaper are applied, the whole room instantly feels different.
"Wow, Jiang Li looks so good! Do you have any more of these? I want some too."
Looking at the results, Fu Xiaxia was genuinely impressed. Since the apocalypse, they had been living in unfinished houses, but seeing Jiang Li's room now made her want to decorate her own room as well.
Several other people also wanted the same flooring and wall stickers.
So Jiang Li took out some samples and let them choose their favorite style. Jiang Li delivered the ones they chose to their own rooms. Luckily, they were on the same floor, so they didn't have to run around.
Fu Xiaxia and the others said they wanted to exchange food for it, but Jiang Li didn't intend to take their things. Anyway, he had plenty of things in his own space, and these things weren't bought by Jiang Li; they were obtained for free.
However, Fu Xiaxia and the others refused to take it for free, so in the end Jiang Li still accepted a bunch of food.
After receiving the gifts, everyone decorated their rooms, making the villa quite lively for a while.
Jiang Li returned to her room and took out a small table from her spatial storage. Although it was quite fast for six people to stick the paper together, it was still not finished until noon. After mopping the floor, the two of them started eating lunch.
Jiang Li took out two boxed lunches she had cooked herself, turned on her tablet, and the two of them ate while watching a show. After finishing their meal, they rested for a while before continuing to work.
Jiang Li took out a bed, not the one in the room, but a new bed, two meters wide and two meters long.
This way, two people can sleep together without worrying about it being too crowded.
I put a four-piece bedding set on the bed, laid a blanket next to the bed, and placed a bedside table against the wall next to the bed.
Although it was all thick fog and people outside couldn't see this place, Jiang Li still installed curtains, feeling safer that way, since they could be used later anyway.
A wardrobe and some clothes racks were placed next to the wall on the other side.
The fog is quite thick now, so Jiang Li placed four floor lamps in the four corners to brighten the room considerably.
Jiang Li also placed a rectangular table and two stools near the window in the room, so that the two of them could read and write.
Near the door, Jiang Li had a shoe rack both inside and outside his room; the outside rack held his everyday shoes, and the inside rack held his slippers.
