Hearing the commotion outside the door, Jiang Li silently took out a stun gun from his spatial storage. After glancing around the living room and finding nothing unusual, he immediately opened the inner door. Looking at the three people outside, it seemed these were the people he had mentioned before.
Those outside were taken aback by the girl's boldness and hesitated for a moment before shouting loudly.
"Oh, this little girl has quite the nerve," Li Hu said, looking at the girl's delicate skin and pretty face. He immediately had a thought. Holding the axe in his hand, he said, "Little girl, it's not easy for you to be alone. Open the door obediently so you don't suffer later. You'll be the one who suffers. But if you submit to me, I guarantee you'll live a life of luxury from now on. How about it?" As Li Hu spoke, he looked her up and down, becoming more and more satisfied. Little did he know that he had messed with someone he shouldn't have.
"Big brother, if you're tired of playing around, can you let your little brother have some fun too?" Er Gou said to Li Hu in a very obsequious manner.
"Haha, no problem."
Jiang Li raised an eyebrow, glanced at the three men in front of her who didn't take her seriously, and said with a smile.
"Okay," he said, but the smile didn't reach his eyes, and none of the three noticed.
The three men at the door were surprised that Jiang Li was so easy to talk to. After thinking about how difficult it was for women to survive in this situation and that they could only rely on them, they became even more arrogant.
After turning off the power supply to the iron gate, he immediately extended the stun gun from inside the gate and struck Er Gou, who was standing at the front. Er Gou was caught off guard and was shocked.
He then immediately opened the iron gate, picked up the stun gun and struck Li Hu, but at that moment a strong fist shot out from the side and knocked Li Hu down, so Jiang Li's stun gun missed its mark.
It was a neighbor who lived across the street and whom she remembered well. After regaining her senses, she used a stun gun to shock Li Hu, who had fallen down, knocking him down as well. When Zhang Rui saw Li Hu being hit, she ran towards the stairwell.
"I'm going to chase after him," the man said before leaving.
"Okay..." Jiang Li hadn't finished answering when he disappeared.
A short while later, the man returned with the unconscious Zhang Rui. Jiang Li then shocked the three of them with electricity to ensure they wouldn't wake up.
"Do you have any rope? Let's tie them up and deal with them tonight," Gu Jin said to Jiang Li.
"Yes, just a moment," he said, then went into the house, closed the door, and pretended to take a rope out from inside.
When Jiang Li went in, Gu Jin was standing next to him. He didn't say anything wrong about Jiang Li closing the door. It was completely understandable at this moment. Even before, it was correct to have such a sense of security in front of strangers. Jiang Li came out and handed him the rope. The two of them tied the person up together.
Thank you for today.
"You're welcome," he said, glancing at the iron gate in front of Jiang Li's house. "You have a good sense of security. My name is Gu Jin."
"Jiang Li"
"It seems we need to find a door to close this stairwell, otherwise there will be more trouble later." The elevator was out of service due to the power outage, and the only way to go up and down the stairs was at that time. Since the stairs were an emergency exit, the doors could not be closed.
"Wait a moment," Jiang Li said as he entered the house, closed the door, and placed some food in the corner of the kitchen, making sure that only a corner was visible from the outside, but not enough to tell how much there was. Then, he took out an iron mesh door, roughly the size of a security door, from the space in the former study next door. He glanced at the things in the house to make sure there was nothing abnormal before going out to open the door.
“I have another unused wire mesh door at home. I checked and it should be about the right size, but you might need to come in and move it.”
"Okay, I'll go in and move it now."
Gu Jin didn't ask why there was such an iron gate in the house. After entering, he didn't look around. He followed Jiang Li into the study, looked it over and found that it was indeed similar to the one outside. Then he carried it out the door. Jiang Li originally wanted to move it with him, but seeing how easily he did it, he decided against it.
"I'll go get the toolbox," Gu Jin glanced at the security door, then went back to her room and retrieved a toolbox.
"Go rest over there, I'll take care of it," she said, turning to Jiang Li.
"Okay." Since she contributed something, it's fair for Gu Jin to contribute her efforts. Besides, why not rest when you can? She walked over and gave the three of them another electric shock.
