Chapter 105 Polar Day
"Why didn't I see it?"
Fang Qingxun noticed that everyone else could see the difference, so why couldn't he see anything? Wasn't it still pitch black?

Fu Xiaxia patted Fang Qingxun on the shoulder, speechless at Fang Qingxun's dull senses; he hadn't even noticed such an obvious difference.

The advantage of the midnight sun is that you can see everything around you, instead of it being pitch black. Driving is also much safer, and daytime is always more convenient than nighttime. The downside is that we all have to wear eye masks to sleep.
The next day, the group continued their journey by car. Around noon, they officially entered the mountains. Many of the trees in the mountains had begun to sprout new branches, whereas many trees had been frozen to death due to the extreme cold, and their leaves had disappeared.
Several months have passed since the extreme cold, and the trees are slowly recovering their vitality. It seems that plants are much more adaptable than humans.
Once inside the mountains, the journey was smooth and unobstructed, and no wild animals attacked us.
The mountain was quite large, and the group couldn't drive out for a while, so they decided to stop and rest. After getting out of the car and observing the surroundings to make sure there was no danger, they rested near the car.
They ate lunch, mostly dry rations, since they were in the mountains and didn't know if there were large, fierce dogs. If the smell was strong, it would attract wild animals and cause trouble.
The group was resting on the benches when suddenly, "whoosh!"
A peach pit was thrown at Fang Qingxun.
"Hiss, who dares to ambush me?"
Fang Qingxun was suddenly hit by something and jumped up in anger. Everyone had clearly checked that there was no one here! Why would someone suddenly throw a fresh peach pit at her? And where did this peach come from, and why is it so fresh?

As if it understood, the little monkey came over and sat down next to Jiang Li, slowly peeling and eating a banana.
Where are your parents? Why are you all alone?
Jiang Li handed over the banana in her hand and whispered.
"Jiang Li, how could a beast understand what you're saying?"
Fang Qingxun also sat on the ground, watching the little monkey eating bananas and muttering to himself. The others also came over.
"squeak!"
The little monkey seemed unhappy that Fang Qingxun called it an animal, so it stood up, bared its teeth, and barked at Fang Qingxun.
"It's quite intelligent."
Shi Lin thought the little monkey seemed to understand.

Jiang Li chuckled and patted the monkey's head as he spoke.
"If you yell at me again, I'll stew you!" Fang Qingxun said fiercely, baring her teeth like it was a dog.
Why are you arguing with a monkey?
Shi Yuan looked at Fang Qingxun and said.
“I remember monkeys are very vengeful. If it scratches you in a minute, we won’t care.”
Gu Jin also glanced at the monkey and said.
"Yes, and besides, I think it's quite cute."
Fu Xiaxia, who was standing to the side, patted Fang Qingxun on the shoulder and said.
"Squeak squeak"
When the monkey heard Fu Xiaxia say it was cute, it squeaked twice happily.
"Jiang Li, look, it really can understand!"
Seeing that the monkey had responded, Fu Xiaxia excitedly pulled Jiang Li along.
"Yes, it's very smart."
Jiang Li smiled and patted the little monkey's head again. Fu Xiaxia saw Jiang Li patting it and wanted to pat it too, but as soon as she reached out her hand, the monkey bared its teeth at her, which scared Fu Xiaxia so much that she quickly put her hand back.
"It seems to not let me touch it."
Fu Xiaxia looked aggrieved; she really wanted to touch it too.
Others wanted to touch it too, but the little monkey wouldn't let anyone touch it and simply hid in the tree. If you tried to lure it down with something, it would come down, but it would just take the thing and leave.
Fang Qingxun tried to coax it, but it simply ignored him and refused to take anything. It was clear that it really disliked Fang Qingxun and was probably still holding a grudge for calling it ugly.
"This little monkey is quite vengeful."
Shi Yuan smiled as he watched this scene.
"Hmph, if you won't let me touch you, then don't. I don't care."
As Fang Qingxun spoke, he took a bite of the peach that the monkey had thrown to him earlier, and suddenly froze, holding the peach in his hand.
"My God, this peach is so delicious! It's better than any peach I've ever eaten before."
