Chapter 20 There comes a time when you can't escape.
Amidst increasingly frequent thunder and darkening skies, Jiang Jie and his companions still passed a relatively safe resting place before the rain fell.
It looks like a group of self-built houses on the outskirts of the city, some new and some old. I wonder if there is still anyone here.

Returning to the self-built house where they planned to spend the night, Jiang Jie saw people waiting under the eaves as soon as he stepped into the yard. He paused, and his brows, which had been slightly furrowed due to impatience with the heavy rain, relaxed.
"Brother Jie, you're back!" When Lin Mian saw him, the worry on his face disappeared. Seeing that he was soaking wet, he quickly made way and opened the door for him.
Jiang Yan walked up to him and saw that his nose was sweating because of the hot weather outside. He reached out to wipe it, wiping away the sweat but leaving rain behind.
Lin Mian only felt a chill at the tip of his nose, and then saw the other party raise his lips and smile. He raised his hand a little confusedly and wiped it. There were traces of water on his hands, which made him even more confused.
After enjoying the rabbit's silly expression for a while, Jiang Jie walked into the house and went straight to the second floor to take a shower.
Lin Mian did not follow him upstairs, but turned and went to the kitchen to boil some water to make some cold medicine for people as a preventive measure.

After boiling some water, he remembered that the supplies were still in the car. After cleaning up the room, he hadn't taken them into the house because he was worried about Jiang Jie.
After finding a usable umbrella, he opened the door and went outside to the RV in the rain.
While looking for medicine, Lin Mian remembered that Jiang Jie had taken a shower but did not change his clothes, and the wet clothes he was wearing could definitely not be worn again.

The weather was too hot, and Jiang Jie loved cleanliness, sometimes taking more than one shower a day, so there was no dust on his body.

He pulled off the towel in his hand and stuffed it into the person in front of him. He turned and ran out of the bathroom as if escaping. "I boiled some water. Go see if it's on."
The little rabbit ran away, Jiang Jie stood up straight, his smiling eyes like deep pools.
It doesn't matter, there will always be a time when you can't escape.
