Chapter 109 Ugly Things
The iron gate slowly opened amidst the grinding sound of gears meshing.
Behind the door, a group of fully armed men stood there.
"When did our Chiayi City base produce such an outstanding young man?" A man with similar features to the man in sunglasses walked out from the crowd.
Chi Yanzhou looked directly at the other person: "We'll make a substitution."
"Change the player?" Ding Feng raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Mr. Ding," a man wearing a hat stepped forward, "they're the ones causing trouble at the mission center. According to procedure, we've temporarily detained their comrade."
He Zhuo: "What do you mean we're causing trouble? You were the ones who started it by stealing our supplies. Now that you've already stolen them, you're acting all high and mighty?"
The other side wouldn't budge, retorting menacingly, "I'll just ask you one question—did you make your move at the mission center?"
Ding Feng suddenly raised his hand, his smile feigned yet gentle: "Fang Heng, shut up."
He turned his gaze to He Zhuo, his tone feigning magnanimity, "Young man, don't get agitated. Our Jiaxing base always persuades with reason. Is there some misunderstanding?"
Gu Qi grabbed He Zhuo's arm and whispered, "Don't be impulsive, let's see Lao Ji first!"
Chi Yanzhou remained expressionless, shaking the bag in his hand: "Five hundred crystal cores are here. Bring our people out first."
Ding Feng raised his right hand slightly and made a gesture.
Two guards immediately stepped forward and reached out to snatch the bag.
Chi Yanzhou twisted the guard's hand, and the guard knelt on the ground: "We'll talk after we see the person!"

A man in uniform dragged a chubby man off the car, making him stumble and fall.

The uniformed man collapsed to the ground, his voice trembling with tears as he cried out the devastating news: "Young Master... is dead!"
Ding Feng grabbed the uniformed man by the collar, his eyes blazing with fury: "What the hell are you talking about?!"
"It's absolutely true!" The uniformed man trembled violently, pointing at the fat man who was cowering in a ball: "He...he saw it with his own eyes..."
The fat man, his neck hunched and his small eyes darting around, suddenly pointed at Lu Nange and the others and screamed, "It's him..."
It seemed as if a gentle breeze had passed by.
