Let me talk about the updates first. Last month, I updated nearly 300,000 words, with an average of nearly 10,000 words per day. I will continue to work hard this month.
Let me report the results again and say something embarrassing. As a new author, Kela has submitted the beginnings of at least thirty to fifty new books, totaling more than two million words. However, this book was just an idea he had a long time ago. He wrote the beginning and submitted it. But it was picked up by the editor Canaan. It was a completely unfamiliar subject matter, and the style was completely unconventional. The plot and rhythm were all difficult to figure out, and I couldn't find any reference at all. Fortunately, the editor always gave me careful guidance, which allowed me to find a clearer plot direction.
Before this book was put on the shelves, I admit that the direction and rhythm were a bit messy. The part about KIKI in the 20-something chapters was too far from the main rhythm, and the part about entering the weird radio station in the 80th chapter was too far away. I had expected 4,000 readers before it was put on the shelves, but in the end, there were nearly 40,000 collections and only 600 first orders. I was so annoyed...
Then the editor Canaan told me patiently that writing a book is a long-term thing, and putting it on the shelves is just the beginning. There are also many friends who support and give monthly tickets (the first time I got so many monthly tickets), so I reorganized the outline and focused on survival in the apocalypse, focusing on the core of this dark world invading the blue planet, to find the different positions and practices of various organizations, groups, and individuals in the apocalypse, and at the same time to create a mysterious apocalypse where you need to work hard to survive, and there is hope for human civilization only if you survive.
Then the results got better day by day, and the average subscription increased every day. By the end of this month, the average subscription increased from about 600 on December 1, the first day of listing, to nearly 5,000, becoming a premium product.
Here, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the friends who support this book. This book has many problems. I am indeed immature and stiff in shaping characters and some plot twists. I will focus on improving these shortcomings in my writing skills in the future, including the problem that the data panel feels watery that everyone has mentioned. I will not put it up in the future and will change it to a word bar. When the entire panel needs to be synchronized, I will put free chapters or easter egg chapters.
