Chapter 109 Classmates, I'm going in first.

"Sister Xue'er, why don't we help our classmates?"

When Xu Jiao heard that her classmates were being attacked by zombies, her heart softened.

"Help? How can we help? There are only a few of us, and we can barely take care of ourselves. We don't have Brother Lei's abilities."

"Yes, didn't you hear Zhou Binhui say that he's definitely going to bring the students here?"

"Definitely. Lei-ge isn't here. What if they force their way in like last time?"

Everyone finally realized that the disaster was about to extend to the shelters.

"Chen Xueer, you stay here and watch the monitor. The rest of you come with me to the balcony."

At the crucial moment, Beanna made a decision.

"Okay, I'll do whatever Anna says."

When Beanna ran onto the balcony, set up her sniper rifle, and surveyed the campus through the scope, she realized that the situation was far more serious than she had imagined.

The campus before us is no longer the tranquil place it once was; an eerie and terrifying atmosphere pervades every corner.

The former classrooms, library, and playground have now become the territory of zombies.

These former students and faculty members have now turned into hideous, slow-moving zombies, wandering aimlessly around the campus.

These zombies can be seen on every road in the campus.

Their skin was an unhealthy grayish-white, their eyes were vacant, traces of an unidentified yellow liquid hung from the corners of their mouths, and their clothes were tattered, some even stained with blood.

They emitted low groans, a cry for the primal instinct to live, and a threat to the survivors.

At the entrance to the football field, several zombies sat around a fallen vending machine, seemingly trying to retrieve food from it, but their clumsy attempts only resulted in more disappointment and angry roars.

The entire campus has lost all life, with only these zombies remaining, constantly reminding people of the tragedy that once occurred here.

"Looks like this is really troublesome!"

After reading it, Beanna said something.

"Sister Anna, is it serious?"

"Yes, the whole campus is full of zombies, I didn't see a single survivor."

"Oh no, could they be heading towards the shelter?"

"Yes, you make a lot of sense."

"Hey, Xia Yuhe, you can read minds, right? Go tell Tu Xingsun to protect the shelter!"

Tang Xiaoting suddenly remembered the giant rat Tu Xingsun that Ye Lei left behind when he left.

"Okay, I'll give it a try."

After Xia Yuhe finished speaking, she went downstairs.

"You guys go help, I'll stay here and guard. If anyone dares to climb over the wall, just kill them."

In Beanna's eyes, these students were nothing more than troublemakers and extremists.

"Okay, everyone keep in touch on your walkie-talkies."

After Tang Xiaoting finished speaking, she went downstairs. Xia Yuhe walked out of the villa and did not find Tu Xingsun. He had not been seen for so long. Was he hiding somewhere and sleeping in?

She focused her mind and sent out her thoughts.

"Tu Xingsun, where are you?"

"Who is it? Disturbing my afternoon nap."

Tu Xingsun opened his eyes and stretched.

“When our Brother Lei left, he entrusted you with the safety of the shelter. Now you’re slacking off and sleeping. Believe me, when Brother Lei comes back, he’ll tell him to kill you and roast you.”

Xia Yuhe threatened, knowing that Tu Xingsun only listened to Ye Lei.

"No, no, no, it's coming! Besides, who would eat roasted rat meat?"

As they were speaking, Tu Xingsun emerged from the ground in front of Xia Yuhe.

"Hurry up and stand guard at the door, they're coming soon!"

"Them? Who are they? Zombies or survivors?"

"Why all this nonsense? We have it all!"

Xia Yuhe was already as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, but it just kept rambling on and on.

"Alright, I'm off!"

After speaking, Tu Xingsun disappeared underground and appeared at the entrance of the shelter.

Just three minutes later, Zhou Binhui arrived with his classmates, who were carrying ladders, seemingly preparing to force their way in.

"President Zhou, look, there's a mouse up ahead."

A sharp-eyed student spotted Tu Xingsun at the door.

"What's so scary about a mouse?"

"No, that's a big rat."

"A rat, how big can it be?"

Zhou Binhui turned his head, and when he saw Tu Xingsun, he stopped abruptly.

"My God! Where did such a big rat come from?"

"I don't know. Last time it was two big guys, and now it's a big rat. Who knows what Ye Lei is up to?"

This student has a pretty good memory, but unfortunately he will never see those two big guys again.

"All he does all day long is mess around with random things."

"Should we still force our way in?"

"Why don't you climb up and try it first?"

Zhou Binhui was deeply impressed by the lesson he learned last time.

"No way, I don't want to get bitten by a rat."

In short, everyone stopped in their tracks. With giant rats in front and zombies behind, no one knew what to do!

Faced with the relentless advance of the zombies, Zhou Binhui had no choice but to retreat step by step, approaching the entrance of the shelter.

"Squeak..." Tu Xingsun issued a warning. Facing attacks from both sides, Zhou Binhui, the student council president, was sweating profusely in the sweltering heat.

"Chairman Zhou, there's no other way. We can only be safe if we get into the shelter as soon as possible."

Someone's words reminded Zhou Binhui.

"Everyone, quickly put the ladders on the wall and climb over."

Under Zhou Binhui's command, the group sped up, this time carrying a full five ladders.

Tu Xingsun began to act. It burrowed into the ground, emerged from where the ladder was, and with a slight pout, the ladder collapsed.

Then it moved on to the next location.

The students then erected the fallen ladder again. Ye Lei had ordered Tu Xingsun to guard the shelter and prevent it from tearing apart the survivors.

Soon, Tu Xingsun was overwhelmed. One of the students, who was extremely fast, was about to climb to the top of the wall when he excitedly shouted, "Classmates, I'm going in first!"

Just as he was about to step onto the wall, "Bang..." Beanna on the balcony pulled the trigger of her sniper rifle, and the classmate who had been excited just moments before fell heavily to the ground and never moved again.

"They shot and killed people!"

"My God, there are guns too?"

"Those were really gunshots!"

"Didn't you see he's already dead? There's no doubt about it."

…………

Everyone was stunned by the gunshot and too frightened to move.

"Students, stop climbing! Climbing up means certain death!"

At the critical moment, Zhou Binhui shouted that he did not want his classmates to lose their lives before they were even torn apart by zombies.

"What do we do now? The zombies are already here."

Faced with their classmates being driven to the brink of despair, many had already closed their eyes, like lambs to the slaughter, no longer holding any hope of survival.
