"How was it? I saw you with a zombie, go into the subway station and then come out again. You're definitely not an ordinary person. Now that my daughter is with you, I can finally rest easy!"
"Okay, let your daughter come out, I want to see her!"

"Xu Jiao, come out! Someone wants to take you away!"
The man shouted into the house.
"Dad, I don't want to go! I won't go with him!"
Ye Lei heard the girl's pleading voice, which sounded like she was reluctant.
"Why are you so disobedient, child? That guy is amazing. I saw him go into the subway station and come out again. He must have cleared out the zombies in the subway. If you follow him, you'll be safe!"
"But I don't know him at all!"
"Come over and you'll get to know me. How long can you hide? The food in the house will be gone soon."
The man went inside and pulled the girl onto the balcony.
Ye Lei glanced at her; the girl was fairly pretty, but her face looked a little haggard, and her eyes were red, as if she had just been crying.
A few teardrops still clung to her cheeks, and her lips were pale and bloodless, perhaps because she hadn't had water for a long time.
She was very slender, and the white long nightgown she wore looked somewhat loose on her.
Her hair was jet black and smooth, draped over her shoulders, and swayed with her movements.
"Good sir, this is my daughter, her name is Xu Jiao. What's your name?"
The man, holding his daughter's hand, shouted down to the crowd.
"My name is Ye Lei!"
"Quickly call him Brother Lei, did you hear me?"
The man pinched Xu Jiao's arm hard.
"Brother Lei!"
"Speak louder!"
"Brother Lei!"
Ye Lei finally heard it.
"Wait a minute, your daughter doesn't seem too keen on it?"
Ye Lei had no interest in such a deal.
"I'm her father, do you think I have a say in how she behaves?"
"Aren't you going too far? How are you any different from an animal?"
"Humans are inherently beasts; only by preserving their lives can they talk about wealth and status!"
Ye Lei was utterly speechless. Since he had already admitted to being a beast, then he had to be dealt with.
"Alright then, come down here, let's have a proper talk!"
Ye Lei had made up his mind.
"No, there are zombies outside, we can't get out!"
"Alright then, wait for me to come up!"
"Okay, we'll wait for you. Just come in through the door next to you and you can come up. We're in room 301."
"Alright, you wait and see!"
If we don't deal with this beast, we'll be letting down our mission to save the goddess on Earth. Let's just consider this as preparing dinner for the female knight-errant!
Along the way, Ye Lei didn't need to lift a finger; the female knight easily dealt with several of them. Of course, she didn't forget to take the crystal cores before arriving at the entrance of 301.
"Bang bang bang..." Ye Lei pounded on the door.
"They're here! They're here!"
It was that man's voice from before. After a long pause, the door finally opened.
Why is it taking so long to open the door?
Ye Lei dislikes waiting.
"Oh, I barred the door shut, otherwise the zombies would have rushed in. Come in quickly, the zombies will be back soon."
"She's quite clever," Ye Lei said as he entered the room. The girl named Xu Jiao stood awkwardly to one side.
"Let your daughter go inside first, let's talk!"
Ye Lei didn't want Xu Jiao to see the bloody scene.
"Did you hear that? Brother Lei wants you to come in!"
"oh"
Xu Jiao agreed, went into the bedroom, and closed the door.
"How do you want me to save you?"
Ye Lei asked as he walked, not wanting to even glance at such a disgusting person.
"Just take me to a safe place."
Where do you think is safe?
"I saw on the news that the army is arranging for survivors to be transferred to safe areas!"
Where is that?
Ye Lei was surprised by the army's speed and wanted to know where they were.
"There is a shelter under construction in the suburbs, about 30 kilometers from here."
"Thirty kilometers? That's a long way. Why don't you drive there yourself?"
"You said it yourself, it's so far. What if I encounter zombies on the way if I go by myself?"
"You've thought of everything quite thoroughly. Actually, I have a safer place out there. I wonder if you'd be interested?"

The man seemed very interested.
"Heaven!"
Ye Lei looked at the man and spoke coldly.
What do you want to do?
"If you don't want to do anything, I'll send you to heaven to enjoy wealth and luxury!"
After saying this, the female knight-errant gently slit the man's throat with her sharp dagger.
Before the blood could even spill onto the ground, Ye Lei had the female knight carry the man out for a hearty meal.
Having finished everything cleanly and efficiently, Ye Lei originally planned to leave, but then he remembered Xu Jiao in the bedroom.
But the shelters aren't even finished yet, so it's inconvenient to have her with me!

Ye Lei took out a large bag of food from his spatial storage and pushed open the door to Xu Jiao's bedroom. He was too lazy to knock and waste time.

"Why can't I come in? Your dad entrusted you to me!"
