Ye Lei took a submachine gun and some bullets from his spatial storage and told them to prepare for battle. After they were ready, he stepped on the gas and sped away.
However, as he approached, the scene before him took him by surprise. It turned out that they were not from the Zheng family, but rather a group of strong primitive people.
They wore strange headdresses, and their bodies, except for their private parts, were covered with animal fur, making them look like a group of savages who had emerged from a primeval forest.
They wore leather shoes made of animal fur or straw sandals woven from tree bark, and various animal bones were tied around their necks, ears, wrists, and ankles, making them look like warriors from ancient times.
Their bare faces and bodies were covered in colorful paint, forming strange patterns, as if to show the world their strength and courage.
"Could this be the Witcher?" Ye Lei glanced at them and could feel their primal aura. Most of their weapons were bows and arrows and swords, with only two submachine guns. Most of the gunfire was coming from inside the shelter.
"Brother Lei, are they cavemen?"
Sarah only remembered seeing similar scenes in movies or documentaries before.
"To be precise, they are called demon hunters. They live in the Hundred Thousand Mountains. They are here to exchange supplies. They don't know that the scavenger tribe has been wiped out."
Ye Lei said with certainty that these people were definitely not the fake demon hunters he had encountered at the Three Trees Farm last time.
"So what do we do next? I've heard these people are incredibly barbaric!"
Sarah seemed a little scared.
"It's alright. No matter how savage he is, he's not afraid of bullets, is he? But you guys be prepared and don't provoke them. I'm getting out of the car to take a look!"
Ye Lei also wanted to understand these demon hunters more thoroughly, to see just how mysterious they were.
"Brother Lei, be careful!"
"Don't worry, you guys take good care of yourselves."
After Ye Lei finished speaking, he got out of the car. His hands were empty, so as not to arouse the other party's vigilance. Besides, with his skills, he wouldn't need to go to great lengths to deal with these primitive people.
Hi everyone!
Ye Lei shouted loudly, which made the demon hunters turn around. They then realized that someone had appeared behind them at some point.
"Who are you?"
The Witcher stared at him, his voice filled with wariness.
"Me? I'm the new owner of this place. Are you the Witchers?"
Ye Lei was relaxed, but he remained vigilant. These demon hunters were able to survive in the Hundred Thousand Mountains, so their methods must be quite sophisticated.
"A new owner? Where did the original owner go?"
The Witcher didn't seem to believe him.
"The original people are gone. Are you here to exchange supplies?"
Ye Lei felt that these demon hunters were the true masters of the Ten Thousand Mountains, and it would be best to build a good relationship with them to jointly deal with the increasingly ferocious zombies.
"Yes, since you are the new owner here, can't we just exchange places with you directly?"
It seems these witchers don't have much ill intent; their purpose is simple.
"Yes, I wonder what you all need?"
Ye Lei has plenty of supplies here, so there's nothing to worry about.
"We need salt, and preferably some seasonings too!"
It seems these witchers know how to enjoy life!
"no problem!"
After Ye Lei finished speaking, he took out a whole bag of salt from his spatial storage, along with various seasonings such as chili peppers, soy sauce, and vinegar, piling them up in a large heap.
"Who...who are you? Where did these things come from?"
The Witcher was clearly startled when he saw the supplies appear out of nowhere.
"You don't need to worry about that. Just make sure that these supplies can meet your needs."
Ye Lei did not want to offer any further explanation.
"Can we take a look first?"
"Sure, no problem."
It turns out the demon hunter thought Ye Lei was performing magic tricks and that all the supplies were a hoax.
However, when they saw that the supplies were in good condition and very fresh, they smiled happily.
"We don't know what to call you."
It seems these witchers also want to befriend him.
"My name is Ye Lei, what's yours?"
"My name is A-Gang, and I'm their third leader!"
A burly middle-aged man with significantly more ornaments on his body stepped forward and said, "Perhaps these ornaments are symbols of the power of a Witcher!"
"Ah Gang, hello, I've given you my supplies. What will you give in exchange?"
"We'll trade these to you."
After Ah Gang finished speaking, he took out some gray potions from the bamboo basket on his back. This is the Soul Devouring Potion!
"Could this be the Soul-Devouring Potion?"
This was the first time Ye Lei had ever seen so many Soul-Devouring Agents.
"That's what you call us anyway, we're used for hunting prey!"
Originally intended for hunting prey, this anesthetic was given such a nice-sounding name by these people, who then misused it.
"Do you really think you can catch prey with that?"
Ye Lei wanted to know all of the Witcher's trump cards.
"Of course not, we have even more powerful methods!"
"Oh, really? Why don't you tell us about it!"
Ye Lei's interest was greatly aroused.
"I'm sorry, that's our tribe's most powerful weapon, and we don't usually tell people about it!"
Ah Gang looked very troubled.
