Chapter 28: Fighting each other for a piece of bread



Feeling bored, Ye Lei went to the door, picked up a few sticks, and threw them at the boys.

This got much more interesting. The quick-handed boy picked up a wooden stick and struck the other person on the head. Blood quickly flowed down his head, covering his face. Compared to the zombies, it seemed like he had done something lenient.

Ten minutes passed, and only the strongest boy remained standing, holding a blood-stained wooden stick, while the rest lay on the ground, writhing in agony.

Seeing that her opportunity had arrived, Cha Murong quietly walked behind the boy and struck him hard on the back of the neck. Before the boy could even turn around, he collapsed.

"So, can I have the bread now?"

Cha Murong looked coldly at Ye Lei.

"Okay, I keep my word!"

He opened the bread, tore it in half, and threw it to Cha Murong.

Cha Murong picked up the bread from the ground and stuffed it into her mouth in two bites, choking and stretching her neck out.

"Would you like some water?"

Cha Murong nodded anxiously, and Ye Lei took out the half-empty bottle of purified water and threw it over.

He came to save the goddess; it would be a pity if he choked such a beautiful school beauty to death.

Ye Lei tossed her half a loaf of bread as a last resort, hoping she would have some strength first, otherwise how would she get to the shelter with him later?

"How is it? Are you full? Can you come with me now?"

"Go with you? On what grounds?"

"Because I have food here."

After Ye Lei finished speaking, he took out a piece of bread from his spatial storage and held it up, waving it around.
