Chapter 49: Yun Yiyi Gets Beaten (Part 1)

Yun Yiyi kicked the refugee a few times, and the refugee fell to the ground, unable to move. Yun Yiyi came over with a stick in hand to help Zhang the Hunter. She came up behind the refugees besieging Zhang the Hunter and kicked them hard, sending the refugee flying. Yun Yiyi stepped forward and hit them a few more times with the stick. When she turned around, Zhang the Hunter had also taken care of the last refugee.

"Yiyi, why didn't you go back to the village to call for help? Are you not hurt? Also, how come you are so good at fighting?" Hunter Zhang asked anxiously.

"Uncle Zhang, Uncle Li, now is not the time to chat. Let's repel this wave of refugees who are stealing food first." Yun Yiyi said as she ran away.

When Li Xiucai and Zhang the Hunter saw Yun Yiyi running away, they surrounded the carriage to prevent refugees from coming to steal it.

Yun Yiyi circled the fighting crowd. Most of the refugees were lying on the ground, unable to move. Only five or six were still struggling. Yun Yiyi looked towards the square. The refugees there had all been awakened by the noise. They stood up and looked over. Dozens more refugees were standing about twenty meters from the carriage, their eyes fixed on the battlefield.

Yun Yiyi believed that if the people of Yunjia Village showed any signs of defeat, they would definitely rush forward. Now, as they watched the refugees who came up to grab food being knocked to the ground one by one, they withdrew their steps.

Yun Yiyi, carrying her stick, walked to the back of the carriage and glanced at the refugees not far away. Then, she spotted a large rock weighing about fifty or sixty kilograms on the side of the road. Yun Yiyi swung her stick at the rock, sending it flying and landing on the ground more than ten meters away, turning into a pile of rubble. Yun Yiyi picked up her stick again and looked at the refugees not far away.

The refugees looked at Yun Yiyi, then looked at the rubble that fell to the ground, and turned around and ran towards the square at the same time.

Yun Yiyi finally breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the refugees running away. At this moment, Zhang the Hunter and Li Xiucai also ran over. They had just witnessed the entire process of Yun Yiyi throwing rocks to scare the refugees. Seeing Yun Yiyi now, the two men felt their minds were still a little confused.

About five or six minutes later, the village chief and Yun the butcher came over with a group of young men from Yunjia Village.

"Yiyi, why are you here? Didn't you go back?" Yun Yiyi had deliberately avoided Yun the Butcher just now, so Yun the Butcher really didn't know what had happened.

"Dad, I'm fine. The refugees have retreated to the square now, let's go back quickly." Yun Yiyi said, holding a stick in one hand and shaking Yun the Butcher's arm with the other.

"Okay, let's go back now. Village chief, do you have anything else to say? If not, I will take Yiyi back first. I'm worried that the child will be scared again, so I'll go back and let her mother comfort her." Yun the butcher looked at the village chief and asked.

"Fortunately, this wave of refugees was repelled, and we were fast enough to scare off the remaining refugees. Otherwise, we would be in danger tonight." The village chief patted his chest and said thankfully.

"Two people in a group, throw all the refugees on the ground to the edge of the square, and then we'll go back." The village chief arranged for everyone to carry the people.

"Mr. Li, Mr. Zhang, and Mr. Yun, please drive the car back first. I will arrange the rest of the matters when I get back." said the village chief.

"Okay, let's go back first." Butcher Yun led Yun Yiyi towards the donkey cart. Behind them, Li Xiucai and Zhang the Hunter also followed in their horse-drawn carriages.

Just as Yun the Butcher and Yun Yiyi drove the donkey cart up the hill, Zhang and the three Yun brothers came to meet them.

"Yiyi, are you okay? Are you not hurt?" Zhang squatted down and hugged Yiyi anxiously and asked. Without waiting for Yun Yiyi to answer, Zhang let go of Yun Yiyi and touched Yun Yiyi's head, face, arms, and legs. Suddenly, Zhang smelled the smell of blood on Yun Yiyi's body. It must be the blood that Yun Yiyi accidentally got on her body when she kicked the refugees.

"Boss, please shine the torch over here. I wonder where your sister is injured?" Zhang kept calling Brother Yun, and his men kept turning over Yun Yiyi's clothes, trying to see where Yun Yiyi was injured.

"Yiyi, don't scare your mother. Where does it hurt? Let's go find your Uncle Wu to take a look at you." Zhang was so anxious that tears came to her eyes.

From the moment Zhang hugged Yun Yiyi to the moment she called out that Yun Yiyi was injured, the time was incredibly short. Before Yun Yiyi could even respond, Yun the Butcher and the three Yun brothers surrounded her.

"Yiyi, where are you injured? Does it hurt? Why didn't you tell me earlier? Come, let me carry you to find your Uncle Wu." Yun the Butcher stopped his donkey cart and was startled when he heard Zhang shouting that Yun Yiyi was injured. Yun the Butcher knelt on the ground, holding Yun Yiyi's shoulders with both hands, and asked anxiously.

"Yiyi, where does it hurt? Tell your brother quickly?" Brother Yun asked anxiously from the side.

"Yiyi, just bear with the pain for a while and let Uncle Wu apply medicine for you later." This was the voice of Second Brother Yun.

"Yiyi, are you okay?" Brother Yun San started crying anxiously.

In just a few minutes, Yun Yiyi was surrounded by everyone. She looked around and saw Zhang, Yun the Butcher, and the three Yun brothers looking at her anxiously. She felt a pang of pain in her stomach. She wiped her eyes with both hands.

"Dad, Mom, eldest brother, second brother, third brother, I'm not hurt. I just helped fight the refugees who were stealing food, and my body is covered in their blood. I really am not hurt. If you don't believe me, you can ask the village chief, Uncle Zhang and Uncle Li later. They all saw it. I really didn't lie to you." Yun Yiyi explained loudly.

"Yiyi, are you telling the truth? You are really not hurt?" Zhang asked worriedly.

"Mom, I'm really not hurt. I'm not lying to you." Yun Yiyi said affirmatively.

"Yiyi, wait a minute, let me straighten it out. Didn't you just come back and go down with the village chief again?" Butcher Yun asked after thinking for a while.

"Dad, I lied to you. I'm sorry I didn't come back. I was down there helping fight the refugees who were stealing food. Those were the food we bought, and they must not be stolen. Besides, I'm very good at fighting." Yun Yiyi looked up at Yun the Butcher, then lowered her head again.

"What? You're down there helping to fight the refugees who are stealing food? Ah, is it because Mommy's been so good to you that you've become lawless? You're not even as tall as a stick, not even enough to be kicked by someone, and yet you're going to start a fight." Zhang saw Yun Yiyi holding a stick that was taller than her. She stood up in anger and started spanking Yun Yiyi's little butt. Yun Yiyi didn't even react before she was spanked. She was angry and embarrassed, and finally burst into tears.

"Oh, if you have something to say, talk to the child nicely. She is still young, why do you hit her? Don't you feel sorry for hitting her?" Yun the butcher was the first to react. He grabbed Zhang and stopped her from hitting the child.
