Just as Li Xin'er was about to get Wenwen into the car, a series of running sounds came from their direction.
Her eyesight was excellent, and she could see the situation from afar. In front of her were two teenagers, each carrying several packets of instant noodles, panting heavily as they ran.
Upon seeing this, Li Xin'er raised her eyebrows slightly. She remembered these two boys; they were the two who had broken into the convenience store on the street where she had her nails done.
I didn't expect to run into him here again.
They were being chased by five men wielding baseball bats or machetes, some of whom were cursing and swearing.
"You little brat, you're trying to steal from me! You stop right there!"
As he spoke, he swung the knife in his hand toward the backs of the two boys in front of him. His aim was excellent, and the knife pierced straight into the back of the shorter boy who was slightly behind.
After being stabbed, the shorter man staggered and fell to the ground, wincing in pain. He shouted something to the tall, thin man in front of him.
"Zhao Xiaogang, forget about me, run!"
As he spoke, he pushed several packets of instant noodles that he was holding onto toward Zhao Xiaogang.
Zhao Xiaogang hesitated, wanting to turn back to help the person, but those chasing them were about to catch up.
As he looked around, he noticed a very conspicuous and tall car at the entrance of the zoo not far away, along with Li Xin'er and the others.
The distance was still a bit far. He didn't have Li Xin'er's eyesight, so he could only see a rough outline and couldn't make out the details.
He gritted his teeth and decided to take the gamble, running towards Li Xin'er and the others while waving and calling for help.
"Help! Help us! Please help us!"
