But the moment Li Xin'er met his gaze, she knew that this man was not as easygoing as he appeared.
Even though she had never known what Lu Chen looked like before, she now knew that this person was Lu Chen based on Carl's previous description.
"Miss Li, I heard you really want to see me?"
Lu Chen smiled politely and nodded slightly to Li Xin'er, his voice gentle and courteous.
At this moment, Li Xin'er suddenly felt a strange sense of familiarity with him...
She pondered the various possibilities of getting to know him, but calmly replied:
"I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly."
Li Xin'er first compared Lu Chen in front of her with Lu Peiting in her mind.

But Lu Chen stopped in time and politely extended his hand to Li Xin'er.
"Hello, nice to meet you, I am Lu Chen."
The vulture quickly regained its footing, though to others it might have been an extremely minor movement, or even impossible to detect.
But Lu Chengang was deliberately testing them. From their positions and Carl and Vulture's reactions, he was certain of the superior-subordinate relationship between Li Xin'er and these people.
Li Xin'er lowered her eyes to look at the hand reaching out to her, having already seen through his little scheme. She casually reached out, lightly touched it, and quickly withdrew her hand.
"Xin'er, Li Xin'er's older sister."
Upon hearing Li Xin'er's words, Lu Chen paused for a moment before slowly withdrawing his hand, and smiled:
"Miss Li has quite a sense of humor."
"Just telling the truth."
Li Xin'er said indifferently, then glanced disdainfully at the surrounding street.
"I don't think this is a good place to talk."
Lu Chen smiled knowingly, seemingly having been prepared, and gestured for Li Xin'er to proceed.
"Of course, please."
