Chapter 20 Spatial Changes

After winning the competition, the 'naive and romantic' princess rolled up her sleeves and smugly gave the warrior a little thumbs-up.

"younger brother."

She still remembers that guy interrupting her enjoyment of the show that night!

Ignoring Lu Peiting's dark expression, he tossed his bangs, grabbed his teammates, and shouted to the director that he wanted more points.

Two days passed a little too quickly for Li Xin'er, because she hadn't had enough fun yet, and it was already over.

Of all the crew members and even the six guests, she was the only one who remained in a state of high excitement from beginning to end. The director even suspected that she had taken hormones and secretly asked the on-set doctor several times.

After finishing their work, everyone went their separate ways. Lu Peiting happened to have a trip back to S City, so he invited Li Xin'er to go with him.

Li Xin'er refused without even thinking.

"I'll stay a few more days, you guys go ahead."

Having spent the past two days with this little madwoman, Lu Peiting knew her all too well and, feeling uneasy about leaving her here, asked tactfully:

"You don't have any work plans coming up? Does Sister Xia know that?"

Li Xin'er, with her legs crossed, leisurely munched on an apple and said:

"Of course, you didn't know I'm still on vacation?"

She looked extremely surprised; her already large eyes widened as if they were saucers.

"No way, no way, you didn't know I had two months of rest time?"

The tone of his voice was so subtle that even calling it boasting was an understatement.

Lu Peiting had no idea; he was usually very busy and had no time to pay attention to other people's schedules.

He never expected that the company would agree to let Li Xin'er take a break. After all, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Li Xin'er is a money-making machine, and taking a break means earning less money.

Lu Peiting pursed his lips.

"So how many days do you plan to stay?"

He'll see if he can adjust his schedule and free up a few days.

Li Xin'er's eyes darted around as she pondered:

"You can stay as long as you want, and go back when you get bored. Maybe for a few days, maybe for two months?"

He waved his hand impatiently as he spoke.

"Go ahead and do your thing. I've already spoken to Sister Xia, so don't worry."

"You, who don't even have a holiday, are worrying about what I, someone with two months of vacation, should do."

This person is really stubborn. Sister Xia told me to take care of her, but she didn't say I had to be her mother and watch over her every day.

Hurry up and go, don't keep me from having fun.

Lu Peiting noticed her impatience, so he stopped there and didn't press the matter further.

"Okay, I'm leaving on a flight tonight. Take care of yourself."

Her two assistants are here, so there shouldn't be any major problems.

That evening, after Lu Peiting boarded the plane, he saw Mengmeng and Liu Lei sitting in first class, chatting and laughing.

Lu Peiting paused in his steps toward his seat.

"Aren't you waiting for Xin'er to come along?"

Despite Lu Peiting wearing sunglasses and a mask, the two recognized him immediately, and Mengmeng quickly replied:

"Sister Xin told us to go back first, she has other things to do."

Lu Peiting recalled the past two days when Li Xin'er had been full of energy and running around on the grassland, causing chaos throughout the entire film crew. A fatherly worry rose in his heart.

"Um."

He nodded slightly to the two of them and then walked to his seat.

He took out his phone, opened Li Xin'er's chat interface, and typed a series of messages, reminding her to be careful and so on.

After typing all that, I remembered Li Xin'er's impatient expression, and then, as if possessed, I deleted it all.

Pretending nothing had happened, he silently put his phone back in his pocket.

Leaning back in his seat, his narrow eyes closed, his long, raven-feather-like eyelashes drooping gently, he took a short nap.

As soon as Mengmeng and the others left, Li Xin'er completely let loose and couldn't wait to go out and have some fun that very night.

Over the next few days, I rented a Jeep pickup truck, disguised myself, and went out every day, exploring various places around Monterey Park.

Even while having fun, they didn't forget to stock up on supplies.

If you go to the grasslands, you can buy live cattle, sheep, horses, camels, etc., if there are ranches nearby.

When visiting nearby tourist destinations, I also buy local specialties along the way.

Millet, potatoes, corn, green peppers, tomatoes, apples, pears, dried red chilies, beef jerky, milk tofu, milk tablets, fresh milk...

She doesn't discriminate based on type; she buys whatever is abundant in the area, placing orders under the guise of purchasing goods, and in considerable quantities.

She loves roasted whole lamb, hand-pulled mutton, and other cooked foods. She finds several authentic restaurants and orders dozens to a hundred lambs from each one every day, then drives her small truck to pick them up from each one at the appointed time.

On the evening of the 28th, she had a red carpet event in Shanghai that she had to attend, and Mengmeng had booked her plane ticket for the morning of the 28th well in advance.

Having explored most of Monterey Park, on the evening of October 27th, Li Xin'er finished unpacking her luggage at the hotel and, feeling bored, went into her spatial dimension.

Compared to before, the space has changed a lot now. The most obvious change is at the foot of the mountain, where flocks of various poultry are gathered.

A section of the river in the middle has also been fenced off and used to raise a lot of aquatic products.

These were all for her own consumption after raising them. She was very extravagant in feeding these poultry, adding some spiritual spring water to the feed.

With the help of the spiritual spring water, each of them grew up with a glossy, smooth complexion, looking quite striking.

The most obvious change is to the dog that the owner of the farmhouse gave us.

It was as if it had mutated; in just a few days in the space, it had already grown as tall as a person.

But the foolishness in his eyes, the idiotic look as if he were plotting against someone, remained unchanged.

I don't know if it was the farm owner's daughter who was scammed.

Or was the guesthouse owner scammed?

Or perhaps Li Xin'er was deceived...

Anyway, once the dog grew up, its features became obvious, and it was clear at a glance that this wasn't an Alaskan Malamute, but a Husky.
