Chapter 237 Everyone Who Sees It Has a Share

Li Xin'er and the others ran wildly, with the bearded man leading them through winding alleys before finally stopping after confirming that no one was behind them.

They were all bent over, supporting themselves on their legs with their hands, panting heavily.

Li Xin'er stood aside as if nothing had happened, watching calmly without pretending.

This reaction caught the attention of the most cautious bearded man.

His dark eyes were as deep as a pool as he looked up at Li Xin'er with a sharp gaze.

Li Xin'er crossed her arms, still appearing fearless, and calmly faced his scrutiny.

Although it was called an inspection, the hats and masks covered everything so well that nothing could be seen at all.

The bearded man seemed to want to avoid further trouble. He pursed his thin lips, looked away, and rudely shooed the man away.

"You can go now."

Li Xin'er hadn't had enough fun yet, so of course she wouldn't let him have his way.

"If you grab me and run, that guy will see it all. If we leave now, won't they start watching me?"

Red Hair was immediately displeased. He had already plopped down on the steps to rest, but instantly his fur stood on end and he jumped up and down.

"You! You're being unreasonable! If it weren't for my older brother saving you, do you think they would have let you off the hook?"

Number 105, the simpleton, couldn't stand it anymore and joined in, gently persuading Li Xin'er.

“You’re in more danger if you stay with us. You should leave. They haven’t seen what you look like. As long as you separate from us, they won’t be able to find you.”

Li Xin'er looked up, then looked down, staring at the three black cloth bags they were carrying.

Red Hair noticed her gaze on his bag and became even angrier.

"Don't even think about it. This is something we worked hard to steal, it has nothing to do with you."

Li Xin'er, however, acted like a rogue.

"Everyone who sees it gets a share."

Upon hearing this, the other four people also successfully displayed expressions of disgust on their faces.

The bearded man frowned and said coldly:

Don't even think about it.

He must have had a moment of madness to cause this trouble.

After saying that, he gestured to the others, turned around, and left.

The group ignored Li Xin'er and were about to leave, but Li Xin'er persisted, blocking their way and saying defiantly:

Eating alone is not a good habit.

These words infuriated the group once again.

Red Hair shoved the black bag he was carrying into the hand of the older man behind him, grabbed his baseball bat, and took two steps forward.

"My older brother doesn't hit women, but I won't be so lenient."

The baseball bat was swinging up and down in his hand, looking like it could be swung at Li Xin'er at any moment.

However, Li Xin'er remained unmoved, seemingly impervious to reason.

"The finder keeps what he has."

Red Hair was speechless. He gritted his teeth and raised his hand to strike, but at that moment, Number 105, the simpleton, grabbed Red Hair's wrist.

"Brother Hong, let's talk this out."

Red Hair turned his head and saw the silly guy grinning with big white teeth, trying to comfort him. Finally finding a place to vent his anger, he forcefully pulled his wrist away.

He poked the simpleton's shoulder with a baseball bat and angrily cursed:

"Tong Hui, are you really drunk? Or are you possessed by the Holy Mother? What kind of time is this, and you're still being so kind!"

"We almost lost everything because of these things."

He cursed angrily as he raised his injured arm to show Tong Hui.

"Everyone is waiting for us to come back..."

No sooner had the red-haired man finished speaking than the bearded man, who had been silent all along, suddenly spoke up and reprimanded him.

"Hongli!"

Red Hair stiffened his neck, unwillingly turned his head and stood aside, watching idly as the situation unfolded.

Tong Hui lowered his head and brows, feeling ashamed after his impulsive act and because of Hong Mao's words.

He knew he shouldn't have done that; so many of them were still starving.

For some reason, when Brother Hong was about to hit that woman, he felt uneasy, as if he couldn't do that...

"sorry."

Tong Hui still spoke out in self-reproach.

The red-haired man tossed his head, pretending not to hear, and didn't reply either.

The bearded man stared at Li Xin'er; he could sense that this woman was no ordinary person.

Having just followed them for so long without batting an eye, and after witnessing them fight in the alley, I can still so confidently stop them and demand my things.

Moreover, he saw it clearly when Hong Li was about to make a move; the woman didn't move at all and showed no fear whatsoever.

Such a person is either a fool or has absolute self-confidence, and doesn't take them seriously at all.

Clearly, he now leans more towards the latter.

They had already offended some people today and didn't want to cause any more trouble. After careful consideration, he stepped forward and took the black cloth bag from Tong Hui's hand.

How do you want to divide it?

He looked directly at Li Xin'er and asked.

The figure of the man in front of her was reflected in Li Xin'er's black sunglasses; he was tall, strong, and a rough-looking guy.

As soon as he spoke, the red-haired man next to him was furious again, kicking pebbles on the road to vent his dissatisfaction.

He didn't understand why they should share what they had worked so hard to seize with this woman who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere!

Li Xin'er naturally ignored the red-haired man, raised her chin, and gestured to the bearded man.

"Let's open it and see what's inside."

The bearded man didn't respond, but he did get moving, carrying the cloth bag in one hand and pulling the zipper with the other.

This time, Red Hair couldn't hold back any longer and couldn't help but make a sarcastic remark from the side.

"Tch, what else would you go out looking for besides food these days? What are you pretending for?"
