In front of Lu Chen, Xin'er slipped into the space.
In Lu Chen's eyes, she simply vanished from the spot, and at that moment, Lu Chen's heart jumped into his throat.
He sat there, pale-faced, sweat beading on his forehead, his hands trembling as he held the Buddhist prayer beads.
He wondered if the day Zhu Xin left him would be the same.
Xin'er pressed the communication button again and contacted the Time and Space Bureau. This time it was still Shen Zhuxin, and the connection was faster than before.
Shen Zhuxin hadn't quite managed to hide her emotions yet, her eyes filled with eagerness, "Have you thought it through?"
Xin'er shook her head. "No, there's something I need to ask you about."
Shen Zhuxin felt a pang of disappointment, but her expression remained unchanged. "What is it? Just ask."
"Do you know Lu Chen? Or have you ever been to Water Blue Star?"
After Xin'er finished speaking, seeing that Shen Zhuxin looked confused, Xin'er told her everything about Lu Chen.
Shen Zhuxin could no longer maintain her composure, and was so surprised and flustered, she exclaimed, "How is this possible!"
After saying that, she quickly said to Xin'er, "Could you please not tell him about my existence for now? I will investigate this matter thoroughly."
She is hesitant to deny it now because she was pressured by various departments for a period of time before, and she did personally go to certain planets in the inner and outer universes to recruit people!

When Xin'er emerged from the space, she saw Lu Chen still in the same position as before, his eager gaze fixed on her. Xin'er spoke inscrutably:
"I'm sorry, I might have mistaken you for someone else."
Lu Chen's body went limp in an instant, as if he only had his last breath to support him. He lowered his head.
"Miss Xin, is it inconvenient for you to say?"
Seeing his reaction, Xin'er tried to comfort him, "I believe you'll find out soon enough. That's all I can say for now."
The ambiguous words rekindled Lu Chen's hope. He looked up and sincerely said to Xin'er, "I understand, thank you."
"I can pay with crystal cores this time too. Just name your price."
Saying thank you was too inadequate, so he could only offer Xin'er the crystal core she liked.
Xin'er had already earned 100 million points, and with the continuous influx of funds from the restocking platform, she was no longer fixated on crystal cores. She waved her hand and said, "I don't need them this time."

"Have them all come to the restaurant."

The 11 members of Zhan Yi didn't have much to do upon their return; they were already waiting in the conference room. Upon hearing Tan Jingrui's notification, the group quickly went to the restaurant.

Carl led the way, and his regular squad was all there. The group was dressed in matching black combat uniforms, and their clothes were all very clean, showing that they had specially prepared for the upcoming meeting.
"Okay, I'll just find a seat."
The vulture's eyes gleamed as it looked at the dishes laid out on the table.
"Wow, Sister Xin, what a wonderful day it is today! There's a banquet to eat! I've been craving banquets from China for so long. I've heard they're delicious, but I've never had the chance to try them."
Xin'er, remembering what she had just said to Lu Chen, said with a mischievous grin, "It's my birthday."
The golden eagle, which had been sitting down, suddenly bounced up as if pricked by needles.
"Oh my god! Sister Xin, why did you only say this now?"
Not only him, but everyone else did the same. Just like Lu Chen, they all made up lame excuses and ran out of the restaurant as if they were escaping.
"Sister Xin, I left my things in the conference room. I'll go get them and be right back."
"Oh, right, Sister Xin, I'll go get a bottle of water."
"I...I'm going to the toilet."
Looking at the empty restaurant again, Xin'er suddenly burst out laughing, this time a bright and cheerful laugh.
Well, she was just happy to prank these people.
Zhan Yi and his group ran out, and in no time, everyone who was supposed to be back for the meeting that night knew about it.
It's Sister Xin's birthday today!
Xin'er was watching TV while waiting for someone in the restaurant. The restaurant was where the supermarket employees usually ate. There were three supermarkets in the S City base, and two of them had restaurants. Xin'er needed to use this one today, so she had informed them in advance, and the employees all went to the other restaurant to eat.
