Chapter 337 The Grand Finale

The lights were turned on, and Xin'er accepted gifts from each person one by one.

Lu Jin'an and You Su stepped forward together, and You Su handed him the gift box with a smile.

"Miss Xin, happy birthday and may your business prosper."

He explained apologetically:

"Jin'an and I happened to be doing a mission nearby. We had just entered the base when Uncle Lu told us it was your birthday today, so we couldn't resist coming over. Please forgive our uninvited visit."

Xin'er accepted the gift and smiled slightly. "I'm so glad you could come. I didn't know you would happen to be at the base, otherwise I would definitely have invited you."

Since it's her birthday, these polite words are perfectly acceptable.

Upon hearing this, You Su's expression relaxed a bit. "That would be our honor."

Lu Jin'an followed closely behind and handed over the gift.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish you a happy birthday.

"Thank you." The gift box he gave her was made of sandalwood and was quite unique. Xin'er, without any discrimination, simply put it into her spatial storage.

Receiving gifts one by one took some time. After they were all finished, Xin'er called everyone to hurry up and eat.

The restaurant was full of five tables, and everyone who sat there knew Xin'er and the others. The restaurant was filled with the sounds of chatting and laughter, making it very lively.

Everyone knew that Xin'er loved wine, so they all took turns toasting her.

After everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, it was already past ten o'clock at night. Xin'er saw that it was about time, so she spoke to everyone about the purpose of her gathering.

"I'm going on a long trip, and I don't know when I'll be back."

Upon hearing this, the restaurant fell silent instantly, as if a pause button had been pressed.

Some people may not yet know what her words mean, but some have already guessed, such as Sister Xia, who was entrusted by Xin'er, and Wenwen.

Wenwen threw herself into Xin'er's arms and burst into uncontrollable sobs.

"Wow... Sister, Wenwen will be good. You must come back to pick Wenwen up."

"I won't forget what I promised Wenwen," Xin'er comforted her, stroking her back.

Her condition for agreeing was that the matter would be resolved afterward. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding the Time and Space Administration, she didn't know what the outcome would be.

If she could, she would come back.

Wenwen's words jolted the somewhat bewildered people present, and they all looked at Xin'er with some nervousness.

Xin'er had already prepared her explanation and continued speaking to everyone:

"Even when I'm not there, the supermarket will continue as usual, and the restocking station will not stop supplying goods."

"There is no signal in the place I went to this time, and you can't reach me by phone. If you need anything, you can send me a message through the restocking station."

Hearing her say that, everyone breathed a sigh of relief; at least they could still get in touch.

"Sister Xin, when are you planning to leave? Is there anything we can do for you?"

Xin'er thought about it and realized it was bound to happen sooner or later, so she might as well leave sooner.

"Tomorrow morning, you just need to do your jobs and keep an eye on the supermarket. I can handle the rest myself."

“Carl, I’ve sent Ersha and the others out to mine crystal cores. I’ve put locators on them.”

As she spoke, Xin'er took out a box about the size of a cell phone and handed it to Carl.

"Keep an eye on them. If you need more manpower, go and bring them back to work."

Carl took it, his mood unusually somber. "Okay."

Xin'er assigned tasks one by one, and the group started chatting again. They tacitly refrained from asking her what she was going to do or where she was going.

They always seemed to exercise restraint when it came to what she was going to do, and didn't ask any questions.

They didn't know how long Xin'er meant by "the return date is uncertain," but they vaguely guessed that it wouldn't be short.

Otherwise, given Xin'er's personality, she would never have formally notified all of them.

The dinner, which was almost over, continued until the next morning because everyone was reluctant to leave.

The first rays of morning sunlight streamed into the room, a blinding reminder that it was time.

Xin'er showed no expression, simply waving her hand casually.

"Alright, that's enough. Go about your business."

After she finished speaking, no one moved. She got up and walked out first.

"Tan Jingrui, arrange for someone to clean up this place later."

Later, as everyone drank and chatted, Xin'er brought out several sofas to make everyone more comfortable.

With bottles scattered all over the floor and tables a mess, the restaurant was in complete chaos.

Tan Jingrui responded loudly, "Okay, Sister Xin."

Just as Xin'er was about to walk out of the restaurant, he shouted again at the top of his lungs.

"Sister Xin, come back soon!"

Once he started, many others echoed, "Sister Xin, have a safe journey."

The vulture's loud voice was now tinged with a hint of crying.

"Sister Xin...you'll come back, won't you?"

Xin'er paused, but didn't turn around.

Once out of sight of everyone, Xin'er hurriedly returned to her residence.

Seeing the somewhat empty room, she realized that everything was packed and she could leave immediately.

Just as she was about to enter the space, the voice of the Heavenly Dao suddenly rang in her mind.

"Sister... are you leaving?"

His voice was still weak.

Xin'er sat down on the sofa, as if she wanted to have a long chat with Him.

"Hmm, when did you wake up?"

"Just yesterday, when you brought back our memories."

Xin'er leaned back lazily on the sofa. "Congratulations! Being able to wake up means that this world has stabilized."

After saying that, she suddenly realized something, and her tone became somewhat puzzled.
