Li Xin'er, minding her own business, put the matter out of her mind.
Li Xin'er looked at the two by the river.
The two idiots had just finished their "friendly communication" with the fighter jet and confirmed their status as the boss.
Right now, Ersha is carrying its own basin and strutting ahead, while Fighter Jet is pecking at its small plastic basin and following behind it, trotting along.
Then the second foolish older brother taught him, carrying a basin in his mouth and rinsing it in the river, and the fighter jet also learned one thing at a time.
It looks quite harmonious and saves me a lot of trouble.
Li Xin'er sighed leisurely.
"Mutant beasts seem better than humans~"
After saying that, he ignored the two and left the space.
She's planning to go to the zoo; there are lots of animals there.
Mutant beasts can be henchmen and lackeys, they're obedient and easy to raise... their intelligence has increased, so it shouldn't be too difficult for them to find someone with a talent for cooking, right?
As she walked down the street, Li Xin'er noticed that she could see people on the street from time to time.
This is the fourth day of the apocalypse. Before even waiting for rescue, are they starting to face reality?
She didn't know that everyone was taking the red moon from the night before as a symbol of the end of the world, which is why they panicked and rushed out to find supplies.
When people cross the line of their own interests, their potential is limitless.
Since the end of the world is definitely coming, everyone wants to get out as soon as possible and find as much as possible!
Zombies are nothing! Let's take them down!
As a result, friction was quite common, and she witnessed many incidents of beatings and robberies along her way.
Their biggest enemy doesn't seem to be the zombies, but the humans who compete with them for supplies. Many of them fight each other until they are bloodied and bruised, which then attracts the zombies and they are wiped out in one fell swoop.
Li Xin'er was now also stopped in the road, and she chuckled, wondering if she was hallucinating.
"Say it again?"
Two men stood opposite her, both wrapped in heavy down jackets. They looked to be around thirty years old, tall and burly, with menacing expressions. The one wearing brown earmuffs was particularly arrogant.
"Hand over that knife you're holding!"
The other one, feigning concern, hid his feet and breathed on the cold air, trying to 'persuade' her.
"We only want your knife. We won't make things difficult for you. Give it to us and you can leave."
Li Xin'er held up the other side of the river in her hand and earnestly explained:
"This is a sword, not a knife."
The man with the earmuff impatiently waved the kitchen knife in his hand.
"I don't care what kind of sword or knife you have, I've set my sights on it, so hand it over obediently."
He had just seen it; this knife...this sword was incredibly powerful. Even a little girl could take down a zombie head with a single strike.
If he had this sword, would he still be afraid of those disgusting things?
Wouldn't that mean hacking and slashing indiscriminately, dominating the apocalypse?
Li Xin'er remained unmoved and calmly retorted, "What if I don't pay?"
Another man sneered:
"If you don't pay... do you think you can leave?"
The young girl is too naive. Doesn't she know what time it is now? As he spoke, he carefully examined Li Xin'er's face and figure, his eyes gleaming with lust.
In this freezing weather, dressed so scantily, who is she trying to seduce? Could it be she's looking for...?
'Swish'
A flash of cold light appeared.
"ah!"
The man screamed, covered his eyes, and squatted down, bright red blood flowing from between his hands.
The man with the earmuffs was caught off guard by Li Xin'er's swift and decisive attack. He was somewhat shaken, as he was usually arrogant but this was the first time he had actually seen blood drawn.
"What...what are you going to do?!"
He gripped the kitchen knife tightly in both hands, holding it to his chest, and stared at Li Xin'er warily.
Li Xin'er's eyes were as cold as ice, and she chuckled lightly:
"Oh? Is it me who needs to do what? Not you...? What do you want to do?"
The man with the earmuff found her smile terrifying and frantically shook his head.
"No, no, we don't want it anymore."
He must have lost his mind just now. This woman is not someone to mess with. She looks so gentle and weak, how could she be so ruthless?
The man crouching on the ground suddenly erupted, no longer covering his eyes, and lunged at Li Xin'er.
"My eyes! Dayong killed her! Kill that bitch!"
Li Xin'er stepped back to dodge, then kicked him in the chest, and swung the Other Shore Sword again.
The man swayed, clutched his neck, took a few steps back, then lay back on the ground, blood gushing from his mouth and nose, and died within seconds.
Did I let you leave?
Li Xin'er stood still, glanced down at the somewhat unusual Other Shore in her hand, and said calmly.
The earmuff-wearing man, who had been trembling and leaning against the wall trying to escape, suddenly knelt on the ground with a thud and begged Li Xin'er for mercy.
"I'm so sorry, I'll never do it again. I was blind to your true nature, I had no choice. Please let me go, I have children and an elderly mother at home..."
He cried so pitifully and sorrowfully, filled with regret, regretting that he had encountered such a wicked person.
Li Xin'er noticed that the hilt of the Other Shore Sword in her hand was starting to get slightly warm and was also trembling. Anxious to check the condition of the Other Shore Sword, she lifted her foot and left.
After she left, the tattooed man breathed a sigh of relief, as if he had escaped a disaster, and slumped down against the wall.
Seeing Li Xin'er walk further and further away, he spat fiercely at her retreating figure.
"Pooh."
Then he looked up at his companion on the ground, his face covered in blood, and his expression was one of disgust.
"Useless piece of trash."
He got up, dusted himself off, and made a move to leave.
Suddenly, he clutched his chest, veins bulging on his forehead, and squatted down in pain.
Then it fell silent, squatting there like it was asleep.
