As he spoke, he tentatively moved closer to Li Xin'er.
Li Xin'er saw his smug little expression and was displeased. She gave Carl a wink.
Carl understood immediately, stepped forward to stop him, and coldly warned him.
"Get lost."
Ran Junning's face instantly turned as red as a monkey's bottom.
"You...you are really rude."
He only dared to mutter under his breath, trying to save face.
The group of scarred men opposite him were furious when they heard Ran Junning fanning the flames.
The man supporting the scarred man practically became his mouthpiece.
"Pretty boy! You're talking nonsense! It was that she-devil who's been killing people these past few days. What does it have to do with us?"
Despite the pain, the scarred man nodded repeatedly, "That's right, that's right!"
Ran Junning seemed to have gained confidence at this point and retorted loudly.

The man spat fiercely at Ran Junning.

As he spoke angrily, he looked at Li Xin'er and tried to persuade her:
