"Damn, how can this be!" The man seemed very unconvinced and did not forget to kick the iron gate hard. When he turned around and saw Bai Ling's dark little face, he seemed a little embarrassed and quickly left the alley.
Bai Ling raised an eyebrow upon seeing this and looked outside the alley. It was full of hotels. It was obvious that they were built for those who came here to take the bounty hunter qualification exam.
But Bai Ling had never expected that she would have such a connection with the young man in the hotel she casually walked into.
The man obviously sensed Bai Ling behind him, and immediately frowned. His eyes widened as he glared at Bai Ling, "You're following me?"
"No!" Bai Ling said, then walked past him and communicated with the counter.
The man watched her back as she went upstairs and rubbed his chin. "Hmm? Is she here to take the bounty hunter exam as well?" Then he narrowed his eyes, as if remembering something, and slapped his head hard. "When I came out, I thought I saw her giving the crystal core to the person in the office. Why am I so stupid? I could have given it to her too. Wouldn't that allow me to get in through the back door?"
Without saying a word, he quickly followed Bai Ling upstairs.
When he reached the second floor, he saw her about to enter the room and hurriedly said, "Wait a minute!"
Bai Ling was instructing the hotel waiter to give him the crystal core and a high tip so that he could buy clothes and other supplies for her when she saw the young man who was about twenty years old coming towards her.
"Don't worry, miss. Leave these matters to me. I know everything about this area and can definitely buy you good quality and cheap things." The waiter, who was about 27 or 28 years old and looked a bit mature, said hurriedly.
Bai Ling nodded slightly, then turned to look at the man in front of her, "Sir, what's the matter?"
"Um, I'm sorry for misunderstanding you!" The man scratched his head. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Chen Saner, and everyone calls me Xiao Saner. May I know your name, girl?"
"Li Si." His smile was well-intentioned, so Bai Ling didn't need to blame herself.
"Li Si, nice to meet you!"
"Sir, if you're alright, I..." Bai Ling was stopped by a hand just as she was about to close the door. She looked up at Chen Saner.
Chen Saner looked embarrassed. "I want to ask, do you know where the person in this office lives?"

"How could I not know? I see you two seem to know each other very well. Can you help me?"
Bai Ling looked into his pleading eyes. He was so sure, it seemed there was some misunderstanding. "I signed up yesterday and handed in the crystal core today."
Chen Saner's body stiffened and he slowly backed away, "Uh, you are the one... who owes the crystal core and refuses to hand it over. That person came out cursing, and the others too..." Chen Saner stopped immediately. When he just entered that place, they were arguing about this matter.
"Sorry to bother you!"
Bai Ling didn't mind and slowly closed the door. After turning on the light, she habitually surveyed the surroundings before entering the bathroom to wash herself.
About two hours later, the waiter bought what she needed. Before leaving, Bai Ling stuffed another crystal core into his hand.
The waiter had never seen such a generous person before, and immediately smiled so hard that her eyes couldn't open. "Miss Li, if you need anything else, you can tell me."
