Chapter 5 Bite Me
Everything is ready.
Ye Xuan leaned against the door, gripped the door handle tightly, nodded to Xia Chenxi, and opened the door.
Xia Chenxi stretched out half of his body and threw a cup of water to the ground. The sound attracted the nearby zombies to move towards him quickly.
Three meters.

One meter.

The zombies came down the stairs one after another.

He locked the fire door on the seventh floor and went to check the door to the rooftop.

If the door was open, if Xia Chenxi's action failed, they could still hide on the rooftop for a while.

The other two zombies were attracted by Ye Xuan's movements and chased after him, but they moved much slower on the stairs than on the ground.

The two of them panted and looked at each other in the stairwell. The broom handle in Ye Xuan's hand fell to the ground and his body fell down.
"Ye Xuan." Xia Chenxi took two steps at a time and walked to Ye Xuan's side, then squatted down to check.
Ye Xuan shook his head and stared upwards with empty eyes.
"It's okay. It's my first time fighting zombies. I was too nervous and exhausted."
"Heh." Xia Chenxi stroked her hair and leaned against the wall next to Ye Xuan.
"Have you always been this strong?" Ye Xuan turned his head to look at Xia Chenxi, only to find that Xia Chenxi's forehead was covered with sweat.
