Chapter 57: Being sprayed with ink

Chapter 57: Being sprayed with ink

"Hold my hand tightly and don't let go."

Ye Jin nodded and let Gu Jingzheng cover her eyes with a cloth from behind.

There was no way. She felt dizzy when she saw the sea water, so Gu Jingzheng took a piece of cloth and covered her eyes first, and then took it off when they arrived at the refinery.

Ye Jin was very uneasy because she couldn't see anything. The sound of the sea breeze was in her ears. Gu Jingzheng helped her onto a raft made of branches. The raft floated and surged on the sea, and she suddenly became nervous.

She grasped the raft with her hands. Gu Jingzheng saw her and steady her shoulders with his hands and said, "Don't be afraid, hold on to me."

The man's voice was gentle, which calmed Ye Jin's nervous heart.

Her vision was blindfolded as Gu Jingzheng steady her hand. She felt the touch in his hand more clearly. He held her big hand. There were thin calluses on the knuckles of his palm where he often held a gun. His palm was dry, warm, and hot, giving her a sense of security.

When she arrived at the refinery, Ye Jin took off the cloth from her eyes and smelled the salty smell of marine food. It was different from the salty smell of sea water and had a bit of a fishy taste.

Half of the land split from the entire refinery sank to the bottom of the sea.

"Did you notice that the ground is sticky?" Ye Jin asked.

"Yes, although the sea surface is damp, it's obviously not moisture." Gu Jingzheng looked around and said, "Be careful. We don't know what kind of mutated creatures may be in the sea here."

When Ye Jin walked into the refinery, he was very disgusted by the fishy smell inside. It was the smell of rotten fish and smelly shrimps.

There was slime everywhere on the floor, walls, and equipment.

The further you go in, the darker it gets, and you can't see your hand in front of you.

Ye Jin's hand felt warm and was held by a big hand. It was Gu Jingzheng who held her hand again.

"Follow me closely, don't get separated."

She didn't pay much attention to so many details. She always felt something dripping from the top of her head to her shoulders.

Just as she was about to look up, Gu Jingzheng's space blade flew out and a sharp sound was heard.

A still-twisting octopus tentacle fell from above his head.

"Ye Jin!"

Gu Jingzheng quickly pulled her away, and the place where she had just stood was sprayed with ink.

A fishy smell spread out, making Ye Jin feel nauseous.

The octopus was clinging to the top of the wall, its huge tentacles covering every corner.

This octopus has indeed mutated. It is huge in size, filling the entire wall, and has more than ten tentacles than a normal octopus.

The octopus started spitting ink towards them again. Ye Jin couldn't stand it anymore. It was so smelly!

She drew her ancient knife and quickly stepped forward to cut off the tentacle closest to her.

This octopus looks big, but apart from spitting out disgusting black ink that can disgust people, it has no attack power at all. It is just a giant octopus.

Gu Jingzheng's spatial blade slashed at the octopus's tentacles at a rapid speed. The octopus made an ear-piercing sound and tried to jump away, but Ye Jin swung his knife and nailed its body directly to the wall.

She gathered a ball of lightning and was about to chop off its head when suddenly he spurted out a stream of ink and his head exploded.

He was so tough. Knowing that he could not survive and could not win, he actually blew himself up and sprayed her in the face. Gu Jingzheng dodged quickly and escaped. Ye Jin was the closest and was sprayed all over.

"It stinks!" Ye Jin was almost suffocated by herself.

"puff."

She glared at the man who was chuckling behind her.

Quickly use the water system to soak yourself from head to toe.

A nuclear crystal was found in the black ink. A second-level mutant octopus was surprisingly so big.
