The troubling matters have finally come to an end, and the Happiness Community has enjoyed a few rare days of peace and quiet. Zhan Siyu and Nan Xiangwan also enjoyed a few days of leisurely vacation.
Early in the morning, Nan Haochen arrived with a basket of things, looking radiant.
"Why are you grinning like an idiot so early in the morning?" Nan Xiangwan asked.
Nan Haochen was somewhat indignant. He had come to see Nan Xiangwan in such high spirits today, so why was he being called a fool for being so cheerful?
"Sis, I'm your brother, can you please stop making fun of me like this?" Nan Haochen asked.
Nan Xiangwan laughed and said, "In my eyes, you'll always be my little brother. What's wrong with making fun of you? Tell me, what brings you here?"
"The holiday is almost over, spend some quality time with Qianqian, don't always go out!"
Nan Xiangwan opened the door and helped Nan Haochen carry his things in, only to find that the kid had brought over a large box of ingredients.
"Why did you bring these ingredients over? Didn't you eat enough yesterday?" Nan Xiangwan asked.
Nan Haochen shook his head and said, "How can I ever get enough of this? No one can compare to my sister's cooking skills. I can never get enough!"
Nan Xiangwan couldn't help but laugh when she heard how eloquent this kid was.
"Just because you said that, I'll show you my skills today and cook you a delicious meal!"
"Is there anything you'd like to eat? Oh, right, didn't Qianqian say she wanted sweet and sour pork ribs the other day? You happen to have some good quality ribs in this box, we can make Qianqian a nice meal!" Nan Xiangwan said.
Recently, Ouyang Qian is probably close to her due date, so she is feeling particularly unwell.
Normally, Ouyang Qian doesn't want to eat anything, but now she finally has a bit of an appetite, so Nan Xiangwan naturally wants to cook her a good sweet and sour pork ribs meal.
Nan Haochen said with a smile, "My sister is the best!"
"I went to Ander's warehouse early this morning, just so my sister could make sweet and sour pork ribs for Qianqian!"
Nan Xiangwan suddenly realized that the kid did indeed have an ulterior motive.
"I thought you would find time to visit your sister, but it turns out it's all for your wife again? Oh well, as long as you treat Qianqian well, I'll be happy!" Nan Xiangwan said.
Upon hearing Nan Xiangwan's teasing remarks, Nan Haochen offered an explanation.
"Sis, don't tease me! I'm not the kind of person who forgets about you just because I have a wife!"
"Look, besides the ingredients for sweet and sour pork ribs, didn't I also take some shrimp, crab, and fish?"
"These are all your favorite foods, how could I possibly forget your share?"
Nan Haochen tried his best to make a good impression on Nan Xiangwan, after all, Nan Xiangwan had done so much for him, and of course he couldn't let him suffer in this kind of situation.
Nan Xiangwan couldn't help but laugh. The fact that this kid was going to such lengths to explain this already showed he had a conscience.
Zhan Siyu came out of the kitchen at this moment. He had been making breakfast and did not expect Nan Haochen to come to the door.
"Hao Chen is here?" Zhan Siyu asked.
Nan Haochen quickly greeted them, and Nan Xiangwan then told Zhan Siyu about how Nan Haochen had asked him to make sweet and sour pork ribs.

Nan Haochen said, "Brother-in-law, don't misunderstand. I didn't mean to ask my sister to make sweet and sour pork ribs for Qianqian. Actually, I brought a portion of all the ingredients that everyone likes to eat. I just wanted to have a meal together!"
Nan Haochen was afraid that Zhan Si would misunderstand. He didn't treat Nan Xiangwan as a tool; he genuinely wanted everyone to have a meal together.
Nan Xiangwan couldn't stop laughing. She never expected that Nan Haochen, who was fearless, wouldn't dare to speak loudly in front of Zhan Siyu.
"Why are you so nervous? I just asked one more question!" Zhan Siyu was speechless.
Nan Haochen stood there looking somewhat bewildered, unsure of what to do.
"Since we're already here, let's have breakfast together!" Nan Xiangwan said.
The group ate breakfast together, and Nan Xiangwan sorted through the ingredients that Nan Haochen had brought, finding that he had indeed brought a portion of all sorts of ingredients.
"You little brat, not only did you take the ingredients for your wife's favorite sweet and sour pork ribs, but you even took the portions for Chaoqun and Nangong Chen?"
Zhan Siyu and Nan Xiangwan were preparing the ingredients together, so they felt a bit helpless about the situation.
Nan Haochen said, "Of course! Chaoqun also said he wanted to eat the ingredients my sister makes, so I just went to Ander's place and got them all!"
Zhan Siyu retorted, "Have you considered that your sister is pregnant now, and she and Qianqian got pregnant around the same time, so their due dates are coming up soon!"
"If you feel sorry for your wife now, then I will feel sorry for my wife too!"
Although Zhan Siyu's words were not meant to blame, they were meant to make Nan Haochen think things through carefully.
Nan Haochen was stunned and suddenly became a little nervous.
He seemed to have indeed not considered this point, because Nan Xiangwan usually appeared so strong in front of them, able to lift and carry things, completely unlike what a pregnant woman should be like.

Seeing Nan Haochen's embarrassed appearance, Nan Xiangwan glanced helplessly at Zhan Siyu.
"Ah Zhan, I'm fine, don't make the atmosphere so awkward!"
Nan Xiangwan quickly stepped in to smooth things over and ease the tension between the two sides.
Zhan Siyu shook his head. He didn't mean to reprimand her. He just felt sorry for Nan Xiangwan. After all, the Ye family banquet had been so difficult to organize, and there were people from Rose Star causing trouble behind the scenes. Nan Xiangwan was already very tired after dealing with all of this.
Zhan Siyu certainly didn't want Nan Xiangwan to continue working so hard, and he would help with almost everything he could.
"Alright, you two, don't think like that. I actually really want to have a delicious meal too!"
"And Qianqian rarely has an appetite, but I also have a huge appetite today!"
"How about this, let's inform Nangong Chen and Chaoqun and the others, and ask them to come over for dinner tonight!"
"Consider this a celebratory feast in advance. Once the food street opens, we'll have much less time to get together for meals. Nan Xiangwan sighed. He figured that there wouldn't be many more times like this, when they could leisurely gather together and enjoy a meal.
Zhan Siyu did not object. Although Nan Haochen felt a little guilty and regretful, he still did as Nan Xiangwan asked.
“I will definitely help you, brother-in-law. I will wash all the pots and pans in the kitchen, clean the vegetables, and prepare ginger, scallions, and garlic. I will take care of everything so that my sister won’t have to work hard!” Nan Haochen said.
