Chapter 30 No Help Required
Unfortunately, Leng Ning only opened the door a little, and the curtains were drawn in the living room, so no one from outside could see what was going on inside.
"She was frightened yesterday and is still asleep now. If there is nothing wrong, you should leave quickly. It will be troublesome if the zombies come later." Leng Ning said coldly.
"Are you frightened?! Let me go in to see your aunt!" Han Yue looked worried and was about to rush in.
Leng Ning pushed her away.
"She has me to take care of her, she doesn't need your concern."
Leng Ning was very strong and Han Yue almost fell down. She was so angry.
But right now she still needs Leng Ning's help, and she can't really turn against Leng Ning.
The house Leng Ning lives in now is much bigger than the one next door, and there must be a lot of food and daily necessities in it. She doesn't want to squeeze into that small house with those people.
"Ningning--" Han Yue thought, preparing to play the emotional card.
"Okay, Leng Ning has made it very clear. Don't make things difficult for her anymore." Han Yue was about to pester her again, but Teacher Jiang couldn't bear it anymore and said.
A trace of hatred flashed through Han Yue's heart.
Why did even Teacher Jiang speak for her? ! Why? !
Teacher Jiang looked at Han Yue warningly.
He looked as if he might slap her again if she continued to pester Leng Ning.
"Even if you don't let me in to see my aunt, Ningning, you should at least give us some food." Feeling the pain on her face, Han Yue didn't dare to make trouble anymore.
After hearing this, Teacher Jiang finally stopped staring at Han Yue.
"We traveled all night last night and it took a lot of effort to get back here. All our gifts were lost. If you have anything to eat here..." Teacher Jiang said to Leng Ning awkwardly.
It was unknown how long this crisis of fog and monsters would last. Leng Ning had already given them a room, and he felt embarrassed to ask her for more things.
But right now, they do need help.
Leng Ning glanced at Teacher Jiang.
"I happened to be in the supermarket with my mother and bought some snacks. I'll get some for you." He then said.
Teacher Jiang suddenly smiled.
"Thank you so much, Leng Ning!"
"Yeah." Leng Ning responded, went back into the house, and then closed the door.
Looking at the closed door, Han Yue's face suddenly turned gloomy.
She had to close the door to get something, and she also used curtains to cover the living room. What kind of shameful things did Leng Ning have in his room?
Leng Ning went back to the living room to get a plastic bag, picked up some snacks and put them in the bag, then turned back to the door.
After opening the door, he handed the bag in his hand to Teacher Jiang.
"I don't have much left, so this is all I can give you." Leng Ning said.
"Okay. Thank you Leng Ning." Teacher Jiang hurriedly took the bag.
"We are next door. If you have any problems, just come to us." Teacher Jiang said, looking at Leng Ning's thin body.
They had received so much help from Leng Ning, and deep down he always hoped to give something back.
"Well. It shouldn't be necessary." Leng Ning said lightly.
Teacher Jiang was a little confused and suspected that he had heard it wrongly.
"You guys go quickly. I'm going in." Then Leng Ning walked in and closed the door.
Looking at the closed door, Teacher Jiang still doubted whether he had heard it wrongly.
"Let's go, teacher! They look down on us and say they don't need help!" Han Yue said sourly.
Teacher Jiang was now certain that he had heard correctly.
Leng Ning, why does he seem like a different person today?
But he didn't have time to explore these things, so he quickly asked everyone to take shelter in the room.
