Jiang Qingwan twirled the car keys in her hand, deep in thought.
Should we go to the supermarket first or the restaurant first?
It seems like most restaurants are too early to open right now.
Let's go to a large warehouse-style supermarket first.
Jiang Qingwan drove to the city's largest warehouse-style supermarket. There weren't many people in the morning; in the past, she would have to circle the underground parking lot several times to find a parking space.
Seeing that the place was empty today, Jiang Qingwan parked her car in the parking space closest to the elevator.
The elevator, which is usually packed with people, was now empty except for Jiang Qingwan.
Jiang Qingwan went up to the first floor to the customer service center to prepare to directly connect with the supermarket manager.
The customer service representative had her hair in a bun, wore delicate eyeliner and earth-toned eyeshadow, and sat behind the service counter.
It gives the impression that this supermarket is very high-end.
"Hello, ma'am. How can I help you?" The customer service representative asked proactively as she saw someone approaching.
"Hey beautiful. I need to buy a lot of things, but I'm all alone. I might need your home delivery service," Jiang Qingwan explained her purpose.
"Is it a large home appliance? You can just go to the store and contact the relevant salesperson," the customer service representative suggested, guessing the problem.
"No, it's that we need to order a lot. How about this, if you can, could you help me contact your manager on duty today?"
Jiang Qingwan didn't know if the customer service representative had the authority to contact the manager directly.
"Okay, please wait a moment." The customer service representative answered the question with a smile.
As soon as she finished speaking, she picked up the black landline phone on the table, dialed a few numbers (presumably for internal express communication), and waited for it to connect.
"Manager Chen, a big client has come to our customer service desk. Could you please help us receive him/her?"
"Excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you. But please help me out." The customer service representative repeated.
The customer service representative hung up the phone, looked up at Jiang Qingwan, and said, "I've already contacted our manager, Mr. Chen, and he should be here soon. Please wait a moment."
"Why don't you come in and sit down? I'll pour you some warm water."
Jiang Qingwan waved the soy milk in her hand. "No need, I just bought it and haven't finished it yet. I'll just stand outside and wait."
The customer service representative maintained an awkward yet polite smile, saying, "Please come in and have a seat. Our manager might not be here anytime soon."
After hearing her explanation, Jiang Qingwan went inside and sat on the sofa.
After a long while, an impatient voice came from the customer service desk.
"Who is it that wants to see the manager so early?" Then she muttered under her breath, "The new customer service representative is no good. She doesn't know the rules. It would have been better to just refuse her. Why did she have to call me?"
Jiang Qingwan was originally deaf. But now that she is a cultivator, she has sharp hearing and eyesight, and cannot escape her notice.
Jiang Qingwan didn't care about his comments. She thought it was good that he had come, so she quickly finished her shopping and left.
Anyway, we won't be dealing with each other again in the future.
"Hello manager, I would like to purchase a large quantity of goods and then need you to transport them to a designated location." Jiang Qingwan looked at the middle-aged man with slightly thinning hair, wearing a white shirt, and exuding an aura of "don't mess with me if I'm not fully awake."
"We can provide door-to-door service, but it depends on how much you buy. How much are you planning to buy?"
"Okay, show me the inventory data displayed on your system."
"This is quite troublesome. You're not here to cause trouble, are you? Is the rival supermarket here to investigate our inventory?" Upon hearing this, the manager keenly guessed. Then, his scrutinizing gaze swept over Jiang Qingwan from head to toe.
"Oh, you don't seem to be one. Our company offers terrible benefits; they definitely couldn't attract a beautiful young woman like you." The manager admitted his mistake.
"Alright, enough talk. I'll definitely buy it. How about this, I'll transfer you 100,000 first, so you can see my capabilities." Jiang Qingwan was too lazy to prove herself; she'd rather settle things with money.
"Can you receive money in your personal account? I'll transfer it now," Jiang Qingwan asked again.
"I can't transfer it. Are you trying to launder money?" The manager felt increasingly confused. Who would come up and demand a transfer right off the bat?
"How about this, I'll forward it to your customer service. I really admire this customer service lady, consider it a tip for today." Jiang Qingwan changed her approach.
"That won't do." The customer service lady quickly waved her hand in refusal, her hand leaving afterimages and creating a gust of wind.
"Xiao Zhang, open your payment code. She said she'd give you a tip, so just accept it." The manager was worried about not daring to accept the tip, but luckily someone else had come along who could.
Anyway, even if something goes wrong, someone will take the blame.
"Thank you." The customer service representative nodded in thanks, pulled up the payment QR code, and held out both hands for Jiang Qingwan to scan.
Jiang Qingwan didn't hesitate and immediately transferred 10,000 yuan. She entered her surname for verification and the transfer was successful.
The customer service representative's phone screen refreshed, and a message appeared: You have successfully received a transfer of 10,000 yuan.
"111...10,000?" The customer service representative stammered in surprise.
"Ten thousand?" The manager next to him leaned over to look at the phone screen. He immediately beamed, a stark contrast to his previous sleepy demeanor.
"Dear Madam, may I ask your name here? Would you like to apply for our supermarket's super VIP card?"
"No way. What would I need that thing for?" Jiang Qingwan politely declined.
"Our VIP deluxe card allows for advance ordering and unlimited home delivery—"
