Chapter 98 Is He Dead?

(I'm preparing for exams in August, and I just finished them yesterday. I'm sure I'll finish this novel!!! After all, it's my first novel! I hope everyone will support me.)

Han Qianfan held the Thousand Bone Blade, which stood horizontally in front of him.

On the smooth blade, Han Qianfan's furrowed brows were clearly imprinted.

The Golden Radiance Sword fell, causing the light and shadow on the Myriad Bone Blade to distort.

Han Qianfan's hand was numb from the shock, and a fear he had never experienced before welled up within him.

Jiang Qingwan increased her spiritual power output.

Han Qianfan's arm became more and more bent, and the Thousand Bone Blade got closer and closer to him.

Han Qianfan frowned deeply, trying to mobilize the demonic energy within his body. The veins on his forehead bulged, and his teeth were clenched tightly.

The demonic energy within his body, which had always been docile, suddenly deflated at a certain point and flowed away in all directions along his meridians.

Han Qianfan glared resentfully at the knots around him.

It must be that damned Demon-Binding Rope.

Han Qianfan forced out a howl from his chest, his voice hoarse and strained.

The sound was like a broken chain, dry yet sharp.

Startled by the raspy shout, Jiang Qingwan grew increasingly agitated and desperately absorbed the spiritual energy in the air, channeling it into the Golden Radiance Sword.

Han Qianfan's actions are all bark and no bite right now.

The shouting was a psychological attack, but the physical skills were like fluffing cotton, posing no threat whatsoever.

Han Qianfan watched as the sharp sword tip approached his face inch by inch.

The tide of hatred vanished from his eyes, leaving only fear.

Han Qianfan's eyes followed Jin Yaojian, and his eyes had become crossed.

The blade was getting closer and closer.

Han Qianfan shouted, "Stop—"

Jiang Qingwan ignored him and continued to desperately pour in her spiritual energy.

Han Qianfan's arm was forced into an eerie fold by the advancing golden sword.

Until the Ten Thousand Bone Blade could no longer withstand it.

Jin Yaojian touched Han Qianfan's skin, easily scraping his face.

Jiang Qingwan raised her eyebrows and said in surprise, "I thought your demon race's skin was as thick as a city wall."

Seeing that all was lost, Han Qianfan pleaded with trembling lips, "Fairy, spare me."

Dark purple blood spread along the wound, forming an irregular ink-splash pattern.

Han Qianfan looked both terrifying and pitiful.

But Jiang Qingwan knew that this was all a pretense.

Jiang Qingwan moved her wrist, and the Golden Radiance Sword pierced a few more inches, but she felt obvious resistance.

It looks like... bones?

Jiang Qingwan slightly tilted her wrist, changing the direction of her force.

Jin Yaojian continued thrusting forward, feeling no more resistance, and the movement became much smoother.

Enduring immense pain, Han Qianfan struggled to utter complete sentences, pleading humbly, "Please! Don't kill me! I'll leave this world right now!"

Jiang Qingwan, of course, ignored it.

Following the sword wound on Han Qianfan's forehead, they continued to stab backward.

Seeing that Jiang Qingwan showed no sign of stopping, Han Qianfan's mind raced, desperately searching for a way to survive.

He actually came up with an idea: "Wait! I can go undercover! I can help you kill the other demons in this world!!!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Han Qianfan felt Jiang Qingwan's hand pause.

Jiang Qingwan finally spoke: "Besides you, are there any other demons?"

"Of course. I am the vanguard of the demon race, so naturally many demons are following behind me." As Han Qianfan said this, his headache disappeared, and a ghostly smile appeared on his lips.

The beautiful vision of conquering the blue planet caused his brain to release dopamine like crazy.

Jiang Qingwan looked coldly at Han Qianfan, who was daydreaming, and replied indifferently, "Oh."

"Then go die."

"It's normal for a vanguard to die."

The golden sword in Jiang Qingwan's hand pressed deeper into her head along the gaps in her bones once again.

A new wave of pain pulled Han Qianfan back to the cruel reality.

Han Qianfan wanted to say something more to persuade Jiang Qingwan to spare his life, but he felt as if he were in an endless fog, unable to see or think of anything.

My mind was completely blank, and my consciousness was becoming increasingly hazy.

Han Qianfan roughly knew that today was his death day.

He never imagined that after living a carefree life for tens of thousands of years, killing countless compatriots, and plundering countless rare treasures, he would die a cold and lonely death at the hands of a girl from another world.

Han Qianfan struggled to piece together the fragmented thoughts in his mind, his voice broken and laced with an unyielding resentment:

"After I die... the soul lamp will go out, but it can transmit back... the last image. At that time... someone will definitely come to find you... to take... revenge."

"Heh." Jiang Qingwan sneered.

The golden sword in his hand pierced through Han Qianfan's entire head.

Jin Yaojian resembled a heavy iron skewer, while Han Qianfan was like a black salted fish coated with purplish-red blueberry jam.

His head was pinned firmly to the sword's edge, and his eyeballs popped out of their sockets, hanging precariously in the air, still attached to the flesh and blood.

A weak voice came from beneath Jiang Qingwan's feet: "Is he dead?"
