Chapter 50 Dealing with troublemakers is a piece of cake!

From the moment Jin Zijie entered the sanatorium, he was acutely aware that he was special.

From the very beginning, the woman who assigned the tasks showed him exceptional favor. He was also the only one among the three teams to receive special instructions from her.

That's why he arrived here without any obstacles. Now, seeing the people he used to dislike now serving him, he was in an exceptionally good mood.

He naturally gave the fat man who was serving him the tonic a good hard time. No matter how much the fat man pleaded or begged, he simply wouldn't drink it. He refused to believe that the fat man could do anything to him.

Because Jin Zijie was uncooperative, the other two people in the same ward followed suit and deliberately boycotted Xiao Shuo together.

This was the situation Yan Qing encountered when she entered the room.

After recognizing Jin Zijie as the person lying on the bed, she didn't bother arguing with him and instead directly ordered Xiao Shuo, "Go, call the guards!"

Article 3 of the "Nurse Rules" stipulates that you must strictly adhere to the prescribed time for delivering medication to patients and personally supervise them as they drink it. If a patient refuses to drink, please call the hospital security guards.

The phone was at the nurses' station. Xiao Shuo, feeling like he'd been granted a pardon, ran off to make the call with a grateful expression.

Jin Zijie crossed his arms and looked at her arrogantly. "You poor wretch with a family, you actually became a doctor? Hahahaha—that's hilarious! Dr. Yan, let me ask you a question: how does it feel to serve people?"

Jin Zijie laughed so hard he rolled around on the bed, and the other two people in the room joined in. She recognized them; they must have been from the same group of adventurers yesterday.

Yan Qing remained unmoved and asked him in return, "What, did everyone in your team end up working as 'patients'?" She wanted to find out where the others had gone yesterday.

Her words concerned the patient's basic situation and fell within the scope of Article 3 of the "Doctor's Rules," so they couldn't be considered a discussion unrelated to the patient's condition. After all, a doctor's background check on each patient falls within the scope of understanding the patient's needs.

Sure enough, Jin Zijie perked up at the mention of this. "What, are you jealous too? You're right. Your 'doctor' position must have all sorts of rules, right? How can you compare to us? As long as we're in our rooms, we can do whatever we want. As for them—"

He pointed to the two people in beds 2 and 3, looking quite proud, "They're both on our team. How about that, scared yet?"

So that's how it is. It seems that the dozens of people Jin Zijie brought were all assigned to different wards as "patients." Yan Qing glanced at him, forcibly suppressing the sympathy in her heart, and decided to let him be happy for a while.

A minute later, the ward door was kicked open with a bang, and four guards in white protective suits walked in.

Xiao Shuo stood at the back and pointed in Jin Zijie's direction, "That's him, the one who led the commotion and refused to take the medicine."

The four guards in white didn't say a word, rushed to Jin Zijie's bedside, and lifted him up without a word. Jin Zijie struggled desperately, but he couldn't move at all; these guards were incredibly strong!

"How dare you! What do you think you're doing! I have powerful backers! If you offend me, you'll suffer a terrible fate!!"

Unfortunately, no matter how he threatened or even shouted, the white-clad guards remained unaffected. Finally, after two guards held him down firmly, the remaining guard lifted his chin and easily dislocated it.

Jin Zijie was in so much pain that tears streamed down his face. Because his jaw had been dislocated, saliva was constantly flowing out of his mouth, making him look extremely miserable.

The white-clad guard then took the white potion from Xiao Shuo's hand and poured it straight into his mouth. He then lifted his chin, and the potion was successfully swallowed.

Jin Zijie collapsed weakly onto the bed.

The other two were already frightened by this sudden turn of events. When it was their turn to drink the medicine, they were both very eager and cooperative, drinking it all on their own.

The white-clad guards then lined up neatly and left as if no one else was there. The people in the room were left looking at each other in bewilderment.

Taking advantage of this moment, Yan Qing began searching rapidly. Xiao Tao helped, and sure enough, after a short while, they found a crumpled piece of parchment hidden in the seam of bed number 3. Upon opening it, they found it was indeed the "Patient Rules".

"Patient Rules":

1. Your working hours are from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. After lights out at 11:00 PM, you are free to move around.

2. When you see doctors, nurses, and staff, you must show respect and never disobey their orders.

3. Your medication times are 9:00-10:00 AM and 4:00-5:00 PM. You must take all the medications.

4. Do not go to the room at the end of the corridor on any floor, or you will never return.

5. If your fellow patients disappear, please believe that they must have been discharged from the hospital.

Yan Qing secretly scanned the parchment with the ball under the cover of her sleeve. The result was that, except for the second rule which was a red contamination rule, all the others were correct.

Given Jin Zijie's rude and arrogant behavior just now, if this rule were true, he would have already been passively "disappeared" by now.

However, these "patient rules" were still somewhat useful. At least she learned that patients were not allowed to move around freely during the day, could not go into the corridor, and had to take their medication on time.

The mere mention of "taking medicine" instinctively made Yan Qing feel a bit resistant. She found it hard to see the medicines in the "Strange Tales of Rules" instance as anything good. At least for her, she absolutely didn't want to take this magical "tonic."
