Chapter 22 Firecrackers (1/2)

After the destination and route were finalized, the group prepared to set off with their weapons in hand.

In the early days of the apocalypse, zombies moved relatively slowly, their limbs were stiff, and they dragged their feet with heavy steps, making them less difficult to deal with than in the later stages.

Chi Yanzhou took the lead, his peach blossom eyes revealing a cold and sharp look.

Lu Xici and others were on guard on both sides, always paying attention to the movements around them.

Chi Yize was the rear guard, and the others were concentrating fully to prevent zombies from attacking from blind spots.

Lu Nange stood by the window, looking down with a telescope.

Everywhere you look, you see dark red blood mixed with white brain matter splattering everywhere. The bloody scene brings a strong visual impact.

Seeing Lu Xici and his men easily shooting zombies in the head,

Lu Nange sighed in his heart, they are worthy of being the male lead group!

I was just about to put down the telescope.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a black shadow wrapped in sparks, flying rapidly towards Lu Xici and the others.

A burly man on the floor not far away saw Lao Shen throwing the firecrackers and swallowed his saliva.

He whispered: "Brother, this is a great trick!"

Another person followed suit, with a greedy look on his face: "That's right, when these people are torn apart by monsters,

All their food will belong to us.”

The firecrackers fell near Lu Xici and his companions, and the crackling sounds attracted the attention of all the zombies.

A group of zombies, making strange "ho ho" sounds, baring their teeth, and with extremely hideous faces, rushed madly towards Lu Xici and others.

"Retreat first, quickly!"

He Zhuo swung the baseball bat in his hand vigorously to repel the approaching zombies, while shouting: "Brother Yan, we can't retreat! There are too many zombies, surrounding us from all directions, there is no way to retreat!"

With their backs to each other, they quickly formed a tight defensive circle and slowly retreated towards Building 6 with difficulty.

A large number of zombie corpses were lying on the ground in disorder, and the thick smell of blood filled the air and went straight to the head.

He Zhuo tightly grasped the baseball bat and shouted, "Fuck, I'm not going to die here, am I?"

...

At the same time, Lu Nange rushed out from the first floor of Building 6 and ran at full speed towards the security booth in the corner.

She wasn't sure if there were any prying eyes hiding in the surrounding buildings.

While running, he pretended to take bottles of liquor out of his backpack and throw them into the security booth.

The crisp sound of glass bottles colliding startled a male zombie behind her, who rushed towards her with a roar.

The zombie's entire face was torn to pieces, with pieces of flesh hanging down and swaying as it moved. Where the nose had originally been, only a bloody hole remained, and it looked extremely hideous and terrifying.

Lu Nange stared at the zombies approaching step by step, without stopping her hands, she unscrewed a small bottle of gasoline and sprinkled it around the security booth.

Then she took out the Bluetooth speaker, turned the volume to maximum, and placed it in a dead spot behind the pavilion.

When the zombies rushed to him, Lu Nange's pupils suddenly shrank. He took out the electric baton without hesitation and smashed it hard on the zombie's head.

With a dull thud, the zombie's head exploded instantly as if it had been hit by a sledgehammer like a watermelon.

Brain matter and blood splattered all over Lu Nange's face and body, making him look sticky and disgusting.

The strong and pungent smell of blood went straight into his nose and hit his forehead violently. Lu Nange tightly grasped the electric baton in his hand and trembled slightly involuntarily.

He Zhuo's anxious shouting came from a distance, waking Lu Nange from her brief daze. She didn't have time to think about it anymore.

He exerted force suddenly and ran towards Building 6.

He ran upstairs, took out his cell phone connected to the Bluetooth speaker, turned the volume up to maximum, and played a song of the Great Compassion Mantra.

The ethereal and slightly eerie music instantly echoed around, successfully attracting the attention of the zombies behind.
