Chapter 298 Lu Xici's Fire Sickle (1/2)

"Base Commander! Look over there! Why are those zombies fighting among themselves?"

The bearded base commander said, "Did you see those two people who just left? They're probably psychics."

"A spirit? This is the first time I've seen a living spirit."

A female psychic stood on tiptoe and pointed in the direction of Lu Nange in the distance: "Base Commander, are you talking about that girl and... that little one?"

"That kid just showed off his skills. He's quite a gold digger," the bearded base commander said. "And his level isn't low. As for that girl and the guy next to her... the zombies around them just now looked like they were possessed. Especially that girl. A level 4 zombie couldn't even resist her; she was shot in the head."

"Level 4 zombie? Headshot?... What kind of sentence is that?... What level of supernatural power does that have to be?"

Base Commander: "That's so easy, at least level five."

"Level five?!" There were gasps all around.

"Base Commander, you're only level four, and that's already the highest level among us."

The bearded base commander's face suddenly turned as dark as the bottom of a pot: "...If you don't know how to chat, then just shut the fuck up..."

Lu Xici was facing a level 4 wood zombie and had originally wanted to use this opportunity to hone his ability control...

But the fighting space was too cramped. When he controlled the flint to burn back along the attacking vines, the vines with sparks flew everywhere and almost affected his companions fighting nearby.

"Tsk, we have to make a quick decision." He said with a light sigh, his eyes sharp.

Lu Xici slowly raised his arms, and the leaping flames in his palms split, forming dozens of paper-thin fire blades, drawing red tracks in the air and attacking the wooden zombies from all angles.

The zombie flung out its vines to block, only to see the flaming blades split in two the instant they made contact. Sparks flew from the blocked portion, while the new flaming blades continued to shoot towards the zombie with undiminished momentum...

Several fire blades pierced into the zombie's eyebrows and eye sockets, and the hot flames crawled along the texture of the skin, eroding inward madly.

When the zombie's torso began to emit a red glow and flickering flames were faintly visible under the skin, Lu Xici casually waved his left hand - the flints around the zombie jumped up.

The flint suddenly grew bigger and the flames shot up more than three meters high.

With a loud boom, the blast intensified the flames, instantly engulfing the Level 4 zombie, leaving behind a cloud of ash flying through the blazing flames...

Ji Xian's winter clothes were covered with black burn marks, and when he dodged the fireballs spewed by the third-level fire zombies, wisps of green smoke were still coming out of the corners of his clothes.

The sound of explosions in the distance made him turn his head subconsciously, and he just saw the flint controlled by Lu Xici reducing the fourth-level zombie to ashes, but the flint did not explode around.

"Brother Ci!" Ji Xian rolled sideways, and a scorching fireball whizzed past his back and exploded on the ice sculpture.

He gasped and shouted, "Help me take care of this fire-breathing creature!"

Lu Xici glanced sideways upon hearing the sound, and saw the third-level fire zombie behind Ji Xian making strange "ho ho" sounds, its rotten jaw opening and closing constantly, spewing out scorching fireballs.

The flying sparks had already disturbed Gu Wan and Luo Xingyou who were fighting nearby, forcing them to distract themselves and dodge.

"Old Ji..." Lu Xici raised his chin towards the burning zombie, the flames in his hand still blazing. "Move it closer. I'll have to burn for a while longer."

Ji Xian flexibly shuttled across the battlefield, taking advantage of every gap to dodge and cleverly lead the fire-breathing zombie towards Lu Xici.
