Chi Yanzhou grabbed his younger brother Lu Nan Ge and lightning exploded in the palm of his left hand.
"Southwest corner!"
The lightning knocked over the nearby zombies, which twitched and fell on the rusty car body and the ground.
Lu Xici and He Zhuo came over with weapons in hand.
"Take turns to cover!" Lu Xici's voice was mixed with heavy breathing. He moved sideways to avoid the zombie that was rushing towards him, and stabbed the Tang knife into the other zombie's eye socket with his backhand.
Gu Qi grabbed Gu Wan's wrist and rushed towards them.
Chi Yi and Ji Xian supported each other, and Ji Xian's leg left a glaring bloodstain.
But none of them turned around to see the tide of zombies approaching behind them.
Lu Nange tried to stand up, but felt a piercing pain in his knees.
Chi Yanzhou bent down and picked her up sideways.
Lu Xici: "Brother Yan, I'm here!"
Chi Yanzhou: "Hold Aye!"
Lu Xici took the unconscious Lu Beiye in one hand. The boy's face was pale, his forehead hair was soaked with cold sweat, and it hung limply in his arms.
The gap in the southwest corner was within reach, but behind him he could hear chewing and tearing sounds.
Lu Nange looked over Chi Yanzhou's shoulder and saw that the group of people had no time to run out of the encirclement and the man was being pinned to the ground by the zombies.
The rotten tooth pierced the throbbing carotid artery——
"Puff!"
Blood splattered in a fan shape on the asphalt road, and more zombies rushed towards this sudden feast like a tide.
"Don't look." Chi Yanzhou pressed Lu Nange's head into his chest.
The wind with the smell of blood brushed across his brow, and a low voice said: "Go."
Several people quickly adjusted their formation, protecting Chi Yanzhou, who was holding Lu Nange, and Lu Xici, who was holding Lu Beiye, in the middle, and ran towards the southwest corner.
A dark shadow suddenly rushed out from the corner——"Bang!"
He Zhuo's baseball bat smashed down through the air. The black shadow suddenly turned sideways, and the baseball bat brushed against the corner of his clothes and hit the wall, causing his palm to go numb.
The man quickly took off his hat, raised his hands and stepped back: "Brother Ci! It's me, Wei Hao!"
"Follow me first!" Wei Hao looked around vigilantly.
Everyone looked at Lu Xici in unison. Hou Yi hesitated for only a moment before nodding decisively: "Let's go first."
Wei Hao turned around and led the way, and several people followed closely behind him and rushed into a narrow alley.
At the entrance of the alley stood a rusty iron fence covered with barbed wire.
As soon as the last person rushed in, Wei Hao pulled the chain hard and wrapped it around several times before locking it.
The zombie's rotten hands stretched out from the gaps in the fence and slapped the iron bars frantically, making the iron nets rattle.
"Go, don't stop." Wei Hao urged, leading everyone to run quickly through the maze-like alleys.
After turning a few corners, a building surrounded by high walls suddenly appeared in front of us - XX Kindergarten.
Four men holding weapons stood at the door. The leader was a muscular man with alert and fierce eyes.
"Mouse, you know the rules. You can only stay in the classroom area."
Wei Hao: "Brother Da, I understand. I will take my buddies to borrow a place to hide for a while."
Da Ge snorted and glanced at everyone with a sinister look: "Follow Haozi in, don't walk around, otherwise--"
He weighed the machete in his hand and said, "I don't mind having a few more to feed the zombies."
Chi Yanzhou stood in front of the crowd calmly and nodded slightly.
Da Ge then turned around and knocked heavily on the iron door three times: "Dongzi, open the door!"
There was a sound from inside the iron door, and then a gap appeared with a creak.
Da Ge pointed his rough finger at a gray teaching building at the entrance: "You can only stay here, you can't go back! You must leave by tomorrow at the latest."
After saying that, he grabbed Wei Hao by the collar. Wei Hao looked at Lu Xici and said, "Brother Ci, you guys go first. I'll come over in a bit."
Lu Xici nodded, and the few of them turned and walked towards the teaching building.
Da Ge patted Wei Hao's belly with his knife, not too hard or too lightly: "Watch your mouth, little rat!"
Wei Hao swallowed and said, "Brother, don't worry."
Da Ge shook him off and raised his chin towards the door: "Dongzi, Gangzi, you two keep an eye on him!"
Dongzi, Gangzi: "Hey, Da Ge."
