Having dealt with the foreign objects on the bus, Su Luo generously wrote her own house's address as the final stop, and then set the starting point as the Delicious Restaurant.
As for the return trip...
The bus key that the system provided came in handy.
At first, Su Luo thought the key given by the system was the key to the bus she had boarded, but it turned out to be a brand new midnight hearse, which was a pleasant surprise.
And so, without any hesitation, Su Luo wrote "Delicious Restaurant" and "Cottage" as the starting and ending points of another bus. Thus, a bus that shuttled back and forth between the cottage and the delicious restaurant was born.
Great, transportation and restaurant are all set up. Now all that's left is to build up your own little house. According to Su Luo's idea, the area and walls provided by the system should be centered on Su Family Village in Shanshui City, expanding outwards, just enough to enclose the Delicious Restaurant.
As for the remaining area, we'll discuss that after she goes out to explore. We don't want to trap any potential threats within the perimeter.
Su Luo still remembers the three Ghost King Cities that suddenly appeared three years after the apocalypse. If she didn't want to be threatened, she had to expand her territory. Otherwise, with just her little house, it would be difficult to compete with the Ghost King Cities.
When the bus slowly pulled up in front of the small house, the box ghost, which had been dozing off against the fat woman, suddenly perked up.
Holy crap, did it see heaven?!
Two slender hands and feet emerged from the box, and following Su Luo, they eagerly got off the car and arrived at the small house. Seeing that Su Luo did not seem to mind, they tentatively stepped into the small house.
The huge French windows were spotless, and several beanbag chairs were placed next to them, occupying the best spots to bask in the moonlight. There was also a small bookshelf with some green plants on it, and a cat bed where a huge yellow Maine Coon was lazily sleeping.
In front of the central background screen is a huge fish tank with a wide variety of rare fish species. It also has a projector, a large color TV, and even a karaoke system.
And this is only a small part of the entrance. From the Box Ghost's perspective, the interior is even more understated yet luxurious, elegant in every way. It is probably more luxurious than some high-star ghost mansions.
My goodness, what incredible luck it had to get involved with someone like that!
Noticing the commotion in the cabin, the gourmet, who had been busy running around, excitedly ran out of the warehouse dormitory, still dripping wet.
"Boss, I'm sorry, I just went to take a shower and then you came back. I couldn't greet you in person, it's my fault!"
As soon as he finished speaking, he came face to face with the Box Ghost. Having experienced the Painted Skin incident, the Gourmet subconsciously assumed that this person was also someone who had returned from the boss's contract.
"Boss, is this a new colleague?"
"Boss, don't worry, I'll definitely get things done." With that, the gourmet pulled the box ghost and enthusiastically led it towards the dormitory, introducing it as he went, telling the box ghost not to be nervous, that once it was here it was family, blah blah blah.
"Look, this is our staff dormitory. I'm the only one here right now. You can choose any of the other rooms."
"This is our cafeteria, haha, there aren't many options right now, since I'm the only one here. But as more colleagues and more people move in, there will be more food options."
Good heavens, and you call that not much?
The Box Ghost looked at the food in front of it, enough to fill a whole table, from appetizers to desserts, all of which were the food that ghosts loved to eat. Among them were several top-quality ghost dishes that it had only heard of but never tasted. Was this considered a small amount? What kind of life had it been living before?
"This area is the entertainment room. There are video games, karaoke, and a mystery escape room... Well, I can't describe it all in a short time. You can try it out for yourself after you move in!"
Move in?!
I want to move in too! Even a three-star, four-star, or even five-star monster would be tempted by a place like this! But the question is, how can it move in?
"Um, brother, I'd like to ask, how did you end up moving in?"
...
Seeing the food critic's enthusiasm, Su Luo didn't mind. The food critic was right; although there was no contract, they were indeed colleagues, and it was good to get to know each other beforehand.
However, this food connoisseur is truly a man of action. No wonder he started out in the hotel industry; his aesthetic sense is still quite good.
The street outside the cabin had been mostly cleared, and the broken corpses and sticky blood were gone, making it much cleaner. Although there were still some wandering ghosts and spirits from time to time, they seemed to be working for the cabin, diligently cleaning the surroundings and driving away any stray ghosts that accidentally wandered into the area.
Nestled on the beanbag chair, Su Luo relaxed and enjoyed a rare moonlit bath.
Seeing Su Luo sit down, a Bichon Frise named Mantou wagged its tail and happily darted to Su Luo's side, jumping into Su Luo's arms and finding a comfortable spot to sit.
Yes, life is peaceful and serene.
The end times are coming... long?
"sister!!!"
A high-pitched voice rang out, along with the notification system of the bus parked outside. Su Luo only had time to see a dark figure suddenly rush out from the warehouse.
"Dear sister, this is my contract, please take me in!"
Thankfully, this monster has no facial features, so its expression is not visible; otherwise, after that one sound, who knows how excited it would have been.
"Sister, look at me! I'm sturdy and durable, and I can even collect money. Although my star rating is a bit low, I can still grow!"
"Sister, please have mercy and take me in. I swear, from now on, if you say east, I'll never say west; if you say up the mountain, I'll never go to the sea..."
