Arriving at the prestigious Shanshui City School based on her memory, Su Luo asked the driver to stop at the school gate and wait for her, while she got out of the car alone.

Standing at the wrought iron gate, Su Luo could vaguely see twinkling lights inside. They were more like will-o'-the-wisps than lights, hanging low in the air in a staggered pattern, much like the energy-saving lamps that were turned on during class.

Just as Su Luo was about to climb over the side wall to take a look, the window of the security room suddenly opened, and a half-skeletal, half-human creature dressed in a security guard uniform leaned out and roared at Su Luo.

"Okay." The security guard silently wrote it down, then used his walkie-talkie to send a message to someone in the school.
"Teacher Liu, Teacher Liu, there is a transfer student who is late. When do you have time to come and pick him up?"
Su Luo quietly looked at the half-human, half-monster thing and thought to herself that it was set up quite formally. Anyone who didn't know better would really think that it was a school.
Before long, a bald, middle-aged man with a shiny face and a head that only reached his brow bone walked over quickly, carrying a stack of folders.
Who is the transfer student?
Upon hearing this, Su Luo obediently raised her hand.
"Oh, you've finally arrived! Come on, let's go to the classroom first, we can complete the formalities later!"
"These are the school rules of our Shanshui City Noble Academy. Take them with you and read them when you have time."
"Noble academies are different from others; the rules cannot be broken at will."
The teacher, presumably named Teacher Liu, led Su Luo out of the security room and into the school, giving her instructions as they went. The deeper Su Luo went, the more she felt that this prestigious academy was extremely aristocratic.
Rich and good-looking.
It would be even better if the fountains didn't spray bloody water with a fishy smell, the lawns weren't planted with severed limbs and remains, and the staircases weren't filled with human skeletons.
'Ding! Congratulations, host, you have entered a three-star eerie dungeon: Shanshui City Noble Academy. Clear the dungeon within seventy-two hours to receive a special reward.'
Very good, three-star dungeon.
The boss is at least a three-star monster. I imagine my strength is still not enough. There is only one three-star monster, Rose Beauty. Although her skills are very powerful, it is hard to say what will happen if I encounter someone who can fight me head-on.
Hopefully, it's a three-star boss that can make up for my weakness in dealing damage! Su Luo thought to himself with anticipation as he followed Teacher Liu into the classroom.
As soon as the door opened, all the students present turned their heads and stared mechanically at Su Luo.
Although they all had human faces, Su Luo felt as if he were being stared at by a group of soulless bodies, or rather, by a group of lifelike, high-quality puppet dolls!
"Ms. Li, this is the new transfer student."
As Teacher Liu spoke, she pushed Su Luo forward, but Su Luo refused. Instead, she went up to the podium and, at Teacher Li's prompting, introduced herself.
"Hello, Su Luo."
One sentence, four words, followed by a moment of silence.
After about a minute, seeing that Su Luo really had nothing more to say, he casually pointed to a seat next to the trash can and told Su Luo to sit down.
Su Luo didn't mind; she wasn't really there to study, so it didn't matter where she sat. But when Su Luo got closer to the seat, she realized that the table and chairs were pitifully old.
There were some unidentified things stuck to the desk, including chewing gum, pipe ash, and some sticky stuff that looked like either dye or pig's blood. There was also a huge, lifelike spider crawling on it!
It doesn't look like a normally empty seat; it looks like a seat reserved for the bullied.
Seeing this, Su Luo looked up and glanced around, glancing at the students and then at Teacher Li on the podium, before kicking the desk away without letting them get away with it.
"Teacher, this table is broken, you can't sit on it."
"Can you let me change seats?"
Upon hearing Su Luo's words, all the students in the classroom, including the teacher, looked over and stared blankly at Su Luo's actions.
Just as Su Luo was wondering if her actions might trigger any rules, Teacher Li nodded and said, "Okay."
"Desk, 100 ghost coins; chair, 50 ghost coins; random seat swap, 50 ghost coins; designated seat, 100 ghost coins."
Somewhat unexpected.
Teacher Li's words surprised Su Luo.
That's it?
But isn't this a bit too realistic? I've heard of selling official positions, but I've never heard of selling even school seats!
The way they make money is utterly shameless!
