Chapter 83 Welcome aboard Hell Train Number 1

We spent a day exploring this small town, checking out all the shops and supermarkets we passed by, except for the gas stations. Many things had already been swept away. The group didn't have much to spare, but it was enough to last them a few days.

Finally, Su Luo stopped in front of a high-end hotel and had Brain Brother take a look. After confirming that there were no strange objects, he found a few rooms nearby.

"The car is right outside. You can sleep or rest in the car or stay in a hotel these next few days, it's all fine."

"If you want to explore other places on your own, just tell the driver and I won't stop you."

The people in the car nodded. Just as Su Luo was about to leave, Xu Qing suddenly stood up and ran to Su Luo's side. "Sister, are you going to the eerie dungeon?"

Xu Qing and Ye Rong had heard about what happened at the convenience store, and naturally learned about the strange object replica in the subway.

In the previous bizarre instance, Su Luo didn't bring anyone with him, but this time, Xu Qing insisted on going along to give it a try.

“If you die, your sister will be left without anyone to take care of her.” Su Luo looked down at Xu Qing and then at Xu Ying, who was weak and powerless in the car. She saw that Xu Qing had left everything she had found with Xu Ying and had even asked the girl whose leg she had grabbed at the convenience store to look after her.

"Yes." Hearing Su Luo's words, Xu Qing nodded firmly. "So I won't die!"

She would never die for her sister!

Upon hearing this, Ye Rong trembled as if he had been touched by some unpleasant memory. Looking at Xu Ying sitting in front of him, he felt a mix of emotions.

"Miss Su, I want to go to this dungeon too!"

Su Luo narrowed his eyes, thinking to himself, "Are you guys planning to raid? You all seem to want to explore the Mysterious Creatures dungeon."

He glanced at the others again. Those few seemed to still be haunted by the memory of the convenience store. Upon hearing the word "subway," they instinctively shook their heads in a stress response, let alone going there.

“Okay.” Su Luo nodded. “But if you encounter danger, I might not be able to save you.”

"Don't worry, sister, I'll take good care of myself." Xu Qing nodded, a glint of light in her eyes.

Seeing this, Ye Rong also made a promise.

Along the way, the group realized that Su Luo was no ordinary person, and no ordinary person would actively explore bizarre dungeons. Considering the things she had taken out along the way, they guessed that she had won them from bizarre dungeons.

This small town didn't have many people or supplies to begin with. It was mostly a hub for long-distance freight and passenger transport, a place to stay. When the strange event happened, almost everything that could be looted or swept away was taken. The things left behind wouldn't last more than a few days. It would be better to go to the strange event instance!

If you manage to clear the level, the rewards will be many times greater!

Finally, Su Luo led the two to the subway station closest to the hotel.

Unlike the dilapidated exterior, the subway entrance looked quite new, as if it had just opened recently.

“Logically speaking, a small town like this shouldn’t have any subway plans.” Ye Rong looked at the subway station entrance, which was dark and obscure, with only a winding staircase leading down to the subway station marked with the words “Subway Entrance”.

Su Luo nodded in agreement.

Let alone a small city like this, some provincial capitals only started building subways shortly before the apocalypse. Cities of this size simply don't meet the standards for building subways.

A subway that appeared out of nowhere, a bizarre dungeon that appeared out of nowhere.

"Let's go down and take a look."

As soon as I stepped down the stairs, the system's voice arrived in my mind as expected.

'Ding! Congratulations, host, you have entered the three-star eerie dungeon: Hell Subway. Clear this dungeon within seventy-two hours to receive a special reward.'

'Ding! Congratulations, host, for reaching your fourth three-star bizarre dungeon, earning 100 points.'

A three-star dungeon, not bad, not too difficult, and should be fine with two people.

So far, the highest level of monsters Su Luo has encountered is Brain Brother's mental hospital, and the four-star Min Family Compound, which he hasn't cleared yet. As for the three-star monsters, apart from the heaven-defying Book Madman, the rest shouldn't be a problem.

Watching Su Luo enter the subway entrance without any hesitation, Xu Qing and Ye Rong followed. As soon as they stepped into the subway entrance, a cold and damp atmosphere hit them, making them shiver involuntarily.

Although the subway station appeared out of nowhere, it was no different from those built before the apocalypse. It was clean and tidy, with no trace of any strange creatures. It was hard to imagine that the outside world was the apocalypse.

"This is way too clean." Xu Qing frowned. She had been to a one-star monster instance once or twice before, where there were corpses everywhere, broken torsos, and foul-smelling intestines filled with unformed excrement. It was extremely disgusting. This was nowhere near as clean.

Ye Rong nodded in agreement. Although he had never been to a high-level monster instance, he had certainly heard of them. They were all said to be terrifying beings, which seemed somewhat out of place here.

"Do I need to swipe a card or insert coins for this too?" Ye Rong asked, slightly surprised, looking at the green ticket gate that was flashing.

To be honest, this bizarre dungeon is surprisingly well-organized; someone unfamiliar with it might think they're actually riding the subway.

“Yeah, if you didn’t know better, you’d think you were actually riding the subway.” Su Luo repeated Ye Rong’s words thoughtfully, as if she had thought of something.

"There are hardly any people outside this small town, and not many corpses either. They did loot everything, though. Where do you think those people are now?"

Upon hearing Su Luo's words, Xu Qing and Ye Rong suddenly widened their eyes and stared intently at the subway station in front of them.

Yes.

Although it appeared out of thin air, with the apocalypse approaching and people in a state of panic, if they came across a place that looked exactly like a subway station before the apocalypse, would they... hide somewhere?
