Southern Wilderness, Jiuhua Mountain!
Inside an ancient stone building.
A beautiful woman was sitting cross-legged, practicing qigong.
An old man nearby observed and nodded with satisfaction.
"This girl's innate magical power is spiritual awareness, which is an ability that only cultivators who have reached the foundation-building stage will have. With this as a foundation, she can easily break through the foundation-building stage!"
But then, his brows frowned slightly again.
"But this girl has no spiritual roots, so it will be difficult for her to practice after she has established her foundation. We need to choose a new method for her!"
The old man thought for a long time, and only came to his senses when the beautiful girl opened her eyes.
"Master, I have successfully established my foundation!"
The woman said happily.
"good!"
The old man nodded approvingly, and then said: "Now show me your innate magical power again!"
"Yes, Master!"
After the beautiful woman finished speaking, she immediately activated her spiritual sense and looked at the old man.
The old man was startled and actually felt like he was being watched by an expert of the same level.
"Spiritual consciousness?"
The old man was surprised.
Divine consciousness is a means only possessed by true Jindan talents, and it is different from the spiritual consciousness of the foundation-building period. Spiritual consciousness can only spy on a few meters around itself and is more used to assist in cultivation, especially in alchemy, refining, talismans, etc.
But spiritual consciousness is different. It can cover an area of several miles or even more than ten miles in radius. For a strong man in the late Jindan stage like the old man, it can cover dozens of miles.
In addition to its wide coverage, spiritual consciousness is even more powerful in exploration, assisting in refining equipment, refining pills, and even attacking.
Although the disciple in front of him still had very weak spiritual consciousness, it was undoubtedly spiritual consciousness.
"The innate magical power is indeed mysterious. Although you are from a different world and do not have spiritual roots, you are not suitable for the new method... but the new method was created by later generations. The cultivation method of the ancient ancestors may be more suitable for you!"
"The cultivation method of the ancient immortals?"
The woman looked curious when she heard this!
"Forget it. I'll go to the sect's Sutra Library to look for it for you. If our sect doesn't have it, I'll swallow my pride and go to other sects to find it for you..."
After the old man finished speaking, he turned into a stream of light and disappeared into the sky.
The beautiful girl looked at her master walking away, and somehow she thought of the people in her hometown.
"Sixty years have passed in the blink of an eye, and I don't know how Nan Nan and the others are doing now!"
The woman sighed, then she checked herself with her consciousness. Near the back of her head, there was a ball of huddled energy that seemed to be very afraid of her.
"The seed of consciousness is still there, which means that guy is fine. I don't know when he will be able to come..."
And at the moment when she withdrew her spiritual consciousness, the seed of consciousness in the back of her head suddenly became agitated, as if it sensed something, but soon became silent again!
"Hmm? Is it...Han Yang?"
…

When he typed the three words "Complete Book", Han felt relieved!
This book has had a bumpy road since its publication.
Not to mention that individual chapters were constantly reviewed and stuck, the entire book was put into the small black room twice. Han spent a lot of effort and went through four major revisions before he was able to save it.
But even so, I don’t know if I will go to the small dark room again.
But it doesn’t matter!
The book has been successfully written, and it has given everyone a complete explanation. Going into the small dark room again will not affect everyone's reading of this story.
Speaking of this story, I have something to share with you.
In fact, in the original version, there was no character called Chen Fang.
My original plan was that the first crisis Han Yang faced after his rebirth would be the two zombie roommates who had turned into zombies and trapped him in the bedroom.
Later, when I was thinking about the title of the book, I was trying to come up with an eye-catching name, and then I thought of Cao Cao's hobby, and that's when I brought out Chen Fang.
I believe many people clicked in because of the title. (Laughs)
But this also meant that Chen Fang's character was added temporarily by me. Her entry disrupted my original outline. Especially when I saw that this kind of plot effect was good, I couldn't help it and kept adding new female characters.
The result is that the plot of the whole book progresses slowly in the early stage, and there are too many interactions with female characters, which is also the main reason for being sent to the small dark room twice.
After four major revisions, I deleted a lot of interactive content. The second half of the book was more focused on advancing the plot, especially after entering the small black room for the second time, I abandoned some of the plot and accelerated the completion.
This book still has many shortcomings, which is inevitable when writing a book for the first time. I will learn from the lessons and make improvements in the next book.
Despite this, I am still quite satisfied with this book. After all, it is the first book I have completed!
Yes, the most important thing is that it’s finished! (laughs)
Regarding the ending of the story and the truth about the virus outbreak, the earliest setting was that it was caused by a corpse that died while traveling through the void and accidentally entered this world.
Later, when I was thinking about how to end the story, I improved this setting and changed it to descent to the other world. This also explains some ancient myths and legends, and the reason for the lack of spiritual energy in modern times.
In fact, Han also thought about whether to continue writing the subsequent story of Han Yang and his friends in the world of immortal cultivation, but finally gave up.
After all, this book is about the end of the world and the zombie crisis, so there is no need to mix in too much other content.
However, perhaps, they will appear in Han’s other books in the future, which can be regarded as a small easter egg!
As for the arrangements for the women, there were too many people and I couldn’t remember them all later. Moreover, each of them had different qualifications and progress in cultivation, so I simply arranged for them to die within 300 years.
As for why only Nan Nan and Qing Qing embarked on the path of cultivation, one reason is that they were the only two originally planned to be the heroines, and the other is that they have relatively simple minds and can go further!
Oh, by the way, regarding Fang Yaoying, some content was deleted, so some people are confused. If you are interested, you can search her name on the web!
Regarding my next book, I don’t want to write about the end of the world for now. I want to change my mind.
Han’s favorite genres, besides doomsday stories, are online games, urban stories, and cultivation stories.
I have read books on both Doomsday and Cultivation of Immortals, so for my next book I want to try online games, and the oldest virtual online game at that.
In order to keep up with the times, although it is a virtual online game, Han has also added some other settings. From the reading experience, it is closer to a time-travel fantasy!
The protagonist is a player who can stay online 24 hours a day without logging off. He has twice as much gaming time as others, and he starts off by slaying a dragon and becoming a necromancer!
If you like online games, or like Han’s writing style, you can add a bookshelf to show your support.
Han doesn’t dare to say anything else, but no matter how bleak the data is, at least he can give everyone a complete story.
After all, I am the one who has been in the dark room twice and only the readers of the bookshelf can see it, but I still insisted on updating and completing the book! (I am so proud!)
Well, I have said a lot. I would like to thank all the readers who have read this book and supported me along the way.
See you in the next book!
