Chapter 194 City Nightmare (1/2)

Corinna soon realized something was wrong.

When she was saying goodbye to the old priest in the church, she inquired about the identity of the young nun before leaving.

The old priest said with a confused look on his face that Sister Martha was on duty as usual every day.

The two looked at each other and finally realized something was wrong.

When Corinna opened the back door of the confessional, she found that the room was empty and only Sister Martha was sleeping in the corner.

The yellow-brown wooden floor was dyed dark in some places, and a few strands of hair were scattered on the ground.

Corinna had a gloomy face and picked up a rough and twisted hair from the ground. Suddenly she thought of something and looked at the back of her left hand.

The crystal clear yet slightly turbid water stains turned out not to be the nun's tears.

"No wonder you can say such blasphemous things. I really underestimated you!"

At a food processing factory in the Joensuu industrial zone, a team of armed guards on duty were looking at the closed factory gate and muttering that their colleagues were slacking off again.

The captain of the guard stepped forward and knocked on the iron gate, "Zack, it's time to get off work!"

There were loud banging sounds, but no sound came from inside the door.

The captain of the guards shouted in dissatisfaction, "These bastards are slacking off again. Sooner or later, we will skin them alive!"

While he was complaining loudly, his face darkened and he waved to the people behind him. They immediately became alert, loaded their guns and entered combat mode.

Important places like food processing plants are the most tempting commodities in a city where supplies are scarce.

Especially now that the gangsters in the city have gone completely crazy, burning, killing and looting everywhere, the possibility of accidents has greatly increased.

The soldiers hid on both sides of the door. The captain of the guard took out the spare key and carefully opened the iron door.

The door opened with a strange noise, and people walked into the factory with guns in hand. An eerie and dead silence filled the surroundings.

It was quiet, empty, and there was a strange smell in the air.

Unlike the violent and chaotic style of the gangsters...

The guard who was walking in the deepest part suddenly stopped, and his military boots stepped on a puddle of water.

He looked down and saw a pool of dark red, sticky blood.

The voice came from behind, and it was not from a teammate.

"Young man, you stepped on my food... cough cough..."

A hoarse, old voice came from behind. The guard suddenly felt his scalp tingling and his stiff body slowly turned behind him.

The ragged, armless old man was hunched over and coughing violently. He looked no different from a beggar on the street.

But behind him, a dozen of his teammates fell silently to the ground, each with a huge cut in the throat, and large patches of blood staining the ground red.

The guard's face showed sadness, his facial features were squeezed together in pain, and emotions of fear, despair and terror appeared on his face.

Finally, his daughter's chubby smiling face appeared in his mind, and he laughed miserably and pulled the trigger at the old man.

Yorickser stared up at the ceiling of the factory, where all the missing people were hanging, their bodies shriveled and wrinkled, as if they had been vacuumed and compressed after the blood was drained out.

Nearly a hundred corpses, their horrific deaths displayed before everyone's eyes, and a police officer behind them began to retch.

Yorickse took a deep breath, and the foul smell in the air filled his nostrils, making his mind clearer.

He ordered in a deep voice,

"Deal with the scene. Transfer an armored corps from the outer defense line to the city. Also... the one who is excreting waste with his mouth, you don't need to come anymore."

"yes!"

Yorickser's intimidating aura made everyone solemn, temporarily overshadowing their fear of the mummies.

Over the next two days, as the army intervened, those gangsters who had done whatever they wanted were like rats in a sewer seeing a cat, fleeing in all directions during the massive purge.

However, in the huge factory area, strange and horrific massacres are becoming more and more frequent.
