Chapter 35 Rock Giant (1/2)

"Haha~ Little guy, I kind of like you."

On the throne, the ghostly figure smiled happily, "If you want to be a great being like me, you can't just work hard to achieve it~"

Fang Ming felt that this fat and long tail was a bit narcissistic. Hearing this, he walked closer without saying a word.

He ignored the shadowy servant standing at the bottom of the stairs and walked up them.

The person on the throne stopped laughing and looked at Fang Ming who was approaching, feeling confused.

Why is he so calm, not afraid, not reverent, what does he want to do?

"I don't know whether you are arrogant or confident, but you'd better cherish your life!"

Fang Ming turned a deaf ear and walked up the stairs.

"Has my kindness given you any false impression? Or do you think I can't do anything to you?"

A terrifying pressure erupted from the throne, and the surrounding shadows twisted and rippled like water waves, as if the entire temple was shaking.

Fang Ming steadied himself and stepped onto the stairs.

"Come back! Child, I recognize your determination. Perhaps you want a better way to evolve. I can satisfy your request. You deserve a better gift."

Fang Ming tried hard to suppress the mocking expression on his face and stepped onto another step.

With every step he took, the figure on the throne who was unable to move felt more depressed. No matter how he was threatened, bribed, or coaxed, Fang Ming did not stop his steps.

Ten steps, in just a moment, Fang Ming stood in front of the throne.

He could finally take a closer look at this almighty king.

Although its body is made entirely of shadows, the patterns and lines on the clothing are still carefully constructed, as if it were really wearing a black aristocratic dress. The graceful body curves and long flowing black hair are also very real.

The shadowy face without any facial features added a touch of weirdness and charm to it, making Fang Ming feel a strange inhuman beauty.

Of course, without contact lenses.

But at this moment, the monster felt Fang Ming in front of him, and his tone was confused. The voice was still female, but the tone was deeper:

"I don't understand, human."

"Aren't you going to continue warning me about my offense?" Fang Ming found its timid appearance quite interesting.

"What do you want? Maybe we can talk."

Fang Ming almost laughed out loud after hearing what it said, "I've already told you what I want."

He stretched out his finger and tapped its body.

My fingers sank into the shadows, and there was no expected touch, only a slight chill.

"Aren't you afraid of death?!" the shadow warned. Things were completely out of its control and it couldn't understand why it failed at the last step.

"Afraid?"

Fang Ming laughed a little, and the next sentence made it feel extremely horrified, "Would I be afraid of a pile of rotting meat?"

"You! Who the hell are you?!"

The long hair behind the shadow turned into a nest of black poisonous snakes, spitting out their tongues at Fang Ming. This should be the greatest resistance it could offer.

Fang Ming comforted it with a smile, "I don't care who I am. What I want is the evolution ritual I want, and you haven't given it to me yet!"

The snakes behind the shadow lay dormant, and it rekindled new hope, "It seems that you are not satisfied with those evolutionary paths. I can give you a more suitable path, Shadow Mage, Dark Knight, or..."

"Of course, these are all good." Fang Ming said, putting his glasses on his face again, "But I was wondering, what do you think of an evolutionary ritual led by a shadow with mythical flesh and blood as a sacrifice?"
