Li Churan was somewhat unwilling, after all, he was in the wrong first, and it was normal for Ye Ning to vent her anger.
But seeing his beloved "white moonlight" crying with tears streaming down her face, he still dialed the number.
"Hello!" Ye Ning answered the phone. Li Churan had actually called her; it probably wasn't anything good.
"What is it? Just say it!" Ye Ning said impatiently, she had no intention of arguing with him.
"Ye Ning, let me ask you, did you move all the things out of the house?" Li Churan asked condescendingly.
“That’s right!” Ye Ning admitted immediately. “You’re the one who told me to move all my things out, so what’s the problem?”
"You're really not being polite, you even took the chandelier and curtains." Li Churan was somewhat impressed by how she managed to move everything so cleanly on her own.
"Why should I be polite when I'm moving my own things? And do I need to be polite with you?" Ye Ning said irritably. "Are you even okay?! If not, I'm hanging up!"
"You're clearly doing this on purpose! You clearly don't want me and Chu Ran to have a good time!" Lin Mengru snatched the phone, her voice trembling with tears.
"So what if it was intentional? So what if I don't want you to be happy?" Ye Ning sneered disdainfully. Who do they think they are? They're divorced and I still have to support them!
"But now you and Chu Ran are divorced, it's all in the past, and he's about to find his own happiness. Shouldn't you wish him well?"
"Blessings? What kind of international joke is this? Why would I bless my cheating ex-husband and his mistress? Lin Mengru, do you think I'm some kind of saintly white lotus? Even saintly white lotuses aren't this stupid!" Ye Ning was somewhat impressed by her thought process.
"Just because you're out of your mind doesn't mean everyone else is!" Ye Ning said speechlessly from the other end of the phone. "Instead of wasting your time, go and figure out whose child your illegitimate child is!"
Lin Mengru stiffened her neck, her face flushed, "Now that things have come to this, I won't hide it from you anymore, Xiaoyu is my child with Chu Ran!" After saying that, she gave Li Chu Ran a shy look.
"Really? Then I really should congratulate you. But I would like to remind President Li, have you done a paternity test? Don't mistake a thief for your child."
"Ye Ning, you're talking nonsense! Chu Ran, she's talking nonsense!"
"Since I'm talking nonsense, what are you afraid of?"
"I'm not scared at all."
Feeling guilty, Lin Mengru quickly hung up the phone.
Ye Ning, on the other end of the phone, looked at the phone in her hand and said, "They only have this much tolerance! How boring."
"Mengru, it's okay! We can just redecorate!" Li Churan comforted Lin Mengru, putting his arm around her shoulder.
Lin Mengru nodded, sobbing.
But the more she thought about it, the more unwilling she became. Ye Ning, I won't let you get away with this so easily.
Li Churan took Lin Mengru's hand and walked out of the villa.
When he walked into the master bedroom, he glanced inside and was surprised to see his and Ye Ning's wedding photos.
