"Let's go, let's go quickly!" Secretary Feng's expression changed, and he hurriedly urged the others to board the helicopter.
It wasn't that he had any deep affection for these people; as the saying goes, "a hero needs three helpers," and he didn't have suitable subordinates in City A, so he needed someone to do things for him.
"Secretary Feng, what exactly is going on?!" The others also began to rush towards the helicopter.
"I don't know what happened! We've probably been followed! Let's go!"
A group of people hurriedly boarded the helicopter, but the helicopter did not start for a long time.
Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that Xiao Liu had not boarded the helicopter at all.
With this delay, all of Canglan's helicopters landed safely.
Forty or fifty heavily armed men filed out of the helicopter and surrounded Secretary-General Feng and his entourage.
"Secretary-General Feng, hello! What brings you here in the middle of the night in such leisure?" Canglan pretended to be confused and teased him.
"We came here to admire the moon because the scenery is beautiful," Secretary-General Feng said with an awkward smile.
Canglan looked up at the sky and chuckled, "Well, the moon seems a bit hidden tonight!"
"Well, Xiao Cang! It's getting late, so we'll head back now!" Although Secretary Feng knew they were likely being outmaneuvered, he still held onto a sliver of hope—what if they hadn't discovered it?
"Sure, of course no problem! Xiao Liu, you escort Secretary Feng and the others back!" Canglan called out from a corner.
Xiao Liu emerged from the shadows, and it was only then that Secretary-General Feng realized that Xiao Liu had already betrayed them.
"But before you go back, you have to open this door first!" Canglan pointed to the large door of the underground air-raid shelter.
Secretary-General Feng turned ashen-faced instantly, but he still wanted to make one last effort.
"Hahaha! Xiao Cang, what are you talking about? What does this door have to do with me? How could I possibly open it?"
"Secretary-General Feng, you're all smart people, so don't pretend you don't understand! Let me be blunt with you! If you don't open the door today, none of you are leaving here!"
"Whether you open it or not, it's just a door. We all have a way to open it. I'm just giving you a chance!"
Secretary-General Feng sighed, knowing that if he didn't cooperate today, he might not be able to leave. He could only open the door with a grim expression.
At Canglan's command, his men filed in and began carrying things out.
Only when the helicopter was completely full did Canglan order the return trip.
"Secretary-General Feng, we really have to thank you this time. Thank you for sending us so many weapons!"
Secretary-General Feng was already upset enough watching them carry his supplies, but after hearing Canglan's words, he was so angry he almost lost his temper.
