At 3 p.m., Uncle Yun and the others finally arrived and met up. After a few brief greetings, the operation officially began.
According to the intelligence gathered by Uncle Yun and his team, there are two groups of guards guarding the warehouse, one inside and one outside. There are four guards outside the warehouse, and they change shifts at 2:30 a.m.
There are 20 people in the warehouse, and they change shifts at 3 a.m.
They need to lie in wait near the warehouse before dawn, wait for the shift change outside the warehouse, and then seize the opportunity to enter the control room.
Time flies, and it's finally 7 PM, time to set off.
"Brother Longfei, I'm entrusting Ye Ning's safety to you!"
Long Fei nodded seriously.
"Jingchen, don't worry! I'm fine! You just need to be careful!"
Xiao Jingchen nodded and put on the specially made white coat. The coat was the same color as the snow, so he wouldn't be easily spotted while walking in the snow.
Using the cover of night and obstacles, Xiao Jingchen and his two companions slowly approached the warehouse and finally arrived in the vicinity.
"Damn it, why is it so cold tonight?" A tall guard outside the warehouse complained, shuffling his feet.
"Yeah, there's not even a moon. Could it be that it's going to snow again in the next couple of days?" another guard chimed in.
"It's much better inside! We'd freeze to death outside, and they wouldn't even let us warm ourselves by the fire!" The tall guard rubbed his hands together.
"Alright, stop complaining. There's only half an hour until the shift ends. I'm going to take a dump. You can stay here and watch the room for a bit!"
"Alright! Go on, go on! Why do you keep needing to pee? Is it because you have kidney problems?" the tall guard teased with a mischievous grin.
"Go away, go away! What nonsense are you spouting? Do you think everyone is like you?"
He walked to a snowdrift in the shadows, humming a little tune as he poured water. He'd heard there were plenty of girls at headquarters, and he wondered when he could go back. He thought the higher-ups at headquarters were all scoundrels, taking all the good stuff for themselves.
After relieving himself, he tightened his clothes. It was so damn cold! He should hurry back!
Unexpectedly, as soon as he turned around, he saw a pair of eyes filled with murderous intent.
Who is it? How could they appear here so silently? Oh no! It's an intruder.
"Who?" The thought flashed through his mind, but before he could even finish speaking, his neck was snapped by the other person.
Xiao Jingchen quickly stripped off his coat and put it on in the blink of an eye.
"Old Li? What's wrong? Is there a situation on your end?" The tall guard, seeing that his companion hadn't come over for a while, quickly came over to check.
He walked over and saw Old Li standing in the shadows with his back to him, wearing a uniform. He immediately felt relieved. "Old Li, so you're here? I almost thought something had happened to you!"
"Hurry up, Lao Li, it's almost time for your shift to change! If the captain finds out, we'll be in big trouble!" Xinyuan Group is known for its strict management and ruthless methods.
He approached, intending to pull Old Li back with him, but the closer he got, the more he felt something was off. Old Li's figure seemed a little off.
"Old Li?" His hand landed on the shoulder of the person in front of him, who turned around indifferently, revealing a pair of cold eyes.
Oh no, it's not Old Li! There's an intruder. He only realized it now, but it was too late.
He was struck hard on the back of the head, his vision went black, and then he knew nothing more!
"Young Master! We succeeded!" Uncle Yun said to Xiao Jingchen in a low voice while changing his clothes.
"Yes! We need to move on to the next step quickly!" Xiao Jingchen nodded.
The two then used the same method to deal with the other two guards.
As for the guards who came to relieve the shift outside the warehouse, they had already been dealt with by Uncle Yun's younger brother, who was lying in ambush by the roadside.
Uncle Yun and Xiao Jingchen exchanged a glance, then smeared blood on their faces.
He deliberately stumbled and staggered towards the control room.
In the control room, Liu An, the deputy captain of security in charge of guarding the area, yawned. In front of him, the ashtray was filled with more than a dozen cigarette butts.
As the person in charge here, he naturally knew more than the guards. He was well aware of the significance of this shipment to the group, so he dared not slack off in the slightest.
But now it's almost 3 a.m., and he's still too sleepy to keep his eyes open.
He gulped down a mouthful of coffee. Damn it, when will this ever end?
At that moment, he suddenly saw on the monitor that the guards outside were covered in blood and running towards him in a panic.
He sat up abruptly. What was going on? Had something happened outside?
The guard ran frantically to the control room door and pounded on it, shouting, "Captain, open the door! Open the door!"
"What's wrong? What's the matter that's causing such a panic?" he asked over the walkie-talkie.
"Captain, there's a critical situation. We were attacked by unknown assailants. Except for the two of us, they're all dead!"
"What?" Liu An was shocked, his heart almost jumping out of his chest. His worst fear had finally come true.
"Captain, please open the door! We have an important situation to report to you!"
This happened so suddenly that he didn't think twice and quickly opened the door. "What happened? Who attacked you?"
He grabbed the reporter's arm and shook it, anxiously pressing for answers.
"The people who attacked you are right in front of you!"
"What?" Before Liu An could react, he felt a chill on his neck, and blood gushed out. He stared in disbelief, clutched his neck, and collapsed to the ground, quickly dying.
